    I bought this to use at home just for small areas (like upper lip, nose, chin, between the brows) and it really does the trick. There is definitely a bit of a learning curb to using the wax but once you learn how to properly apply and remove it, it works well. Sometimes in order to melt the wax you will need to turn it up to max temp while intermittently mixing to make sure it's melted throughout, then turn the temperature down to a level your skin can tolerate. I'm no professional so can't speak on the quality of the wax, but it was effective in removing hair in the areas mentioned and no more painful than hard wax used at salons, so I am satisfied. I also like that it came with pre and post wax sprays. The strips aren't necessary for this type of wax.

    I’m new at-home waxing. I started big, I did my underarms, full legs, and Brazilian all in one go. The warmer is great, though the nob is extremely sensitive and I had trouble setting it to the exact temp I wanted. It heated quickly and the temperature stayed consistent. The kit came with everything I needed, but the post-spray leaked a little even though it was sealed so it was all oily but not ruined. It took me every single wax pack to do the entire job. They say it needs to be a nickel thick so it didn’t really go a long way but the wax isn’t expensive so no worries. It did a decent job. There’s a little learning curve for me since I’ve never done it myself, but after a while I got the hang of it. I will say paying a professional is a lot easier because they can see things that you cannot (back of your legs, back areas of Brazilian), but it was nice doing it at my own comfort and pace for $60 rather then $200. There was quite a bit of tweezing I had to do at the end, idk if it was because of something I did or the quality of the wax. All and all it was a good purchase and I’m happy with the results. Read the info packet inside, it is worth the time before you begin.

    I've had this waxing kit for almost a year now and love it. It's very easy to use and it comes with a great supply of wax pellets, wax sticks, and pre/post facial solution.
    One visit to the salon for a waxing will pay for this set.

    Jus got here as I was gettin hm frm wrk plug it in to heat up while in the shower turnt all the way up to melt wax quicker then turn dwn to 120 a temp I saw in one of the reviews tried out on left armpit it pulled some hair out but was not hot enough the second application to the left armpit the strip didn’t stick to the wax cuz it wasn’t hot enough and started drying by the time I tried to put it on so just had to pull off by grabbing the strip of wax sooo it turnt up the heat to 145 and tried my right armpit which is way the pics consist of and that was just one application/pull off idk if u can see but it got the roots to several of my hairs. I will have my husband finish it up tomorrow along with my Brazilian.
    Glad I bought will be waxing @ hm for now on my husband is gonna be my new wax lady

    I recently tried the BLITZWAX Waxing Kit for Women Men, hoping for an effective and easy waxing experience at home. While the kit has some good features, I encountered issues with the wax not melting enough to pull properly.

    Pros:

    Suitable for Sensitive Skin: The wax is formulated to be gentle, making it a good option for those with sensitive skin. It minimizes irritation and redness after waxing.

    Versatile Use: This kit is designed for full-body waxing, including Brazilian areas, making it a comprehensive option for both women and men.

    Digital Wax Kit: The digital heating element allows for precise temperature control, which can help in achieving the right consistency for waxing.

    Complete Kit: It comes with all the necessary tools, including waxing strips, applicators, and soothing post-waxing gel, making it a convenient all-in-one solution.

    Cons:

    Wax Doesn't Melt Enough: The main issue I faced was that the wax didn't melt sufficiently. This made it difficult to spread evenly and effectively pull hairs during waxing.

    Ineffective Hair Removal: Due to the insufficient melting of the wax, it struggled to grab and remove hairs properly, resulting in a less effective waxing session.

    Machine Performance: While the machine has good features on paper, in practice, the heating element didn't reach the optimal temperature needed for a smooth waxing experience.

    The wax is very tight on the skin, gives a clean smooth finish. Use in small patches instead of big one way wax. It will be one long painful peel.Keep it on high heat the wax does not heat correctly with alot of wax. With alot of wax, remove the tin can from the heater kit with a rag to protect your hands and heat it up on lowest fire stove once heated transfer back to high heat kit.

    First let me say that I have been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 20 years. I have had a lot of experience with using hard wax which this item comes with. Hard wax is supposed to be made to remove the most course hair. This wax failed miserably. I took out a 5 year old opened (this brand comes with a lid to use when changing different waxes) container and set it down in the heater. I had to keep checking the consistency; I don't understand what the purpose of a digital display is, but to each their own. That 5 year old wax worked perfectly (plus it was only a soft wax). The reason I gave them 4 stars is that the actual wax heater works great and even comes with a scrapping bar (plus it's a pretty purple color)! If you are prepared to spend more money on a great/different wax then go ahead and purchase this, it's actually a great deal for a nice heater, but if funds are tight I would look at all the other options Amazon sells and pick a different bargain. Best of luck!
