Cozy, delightful, feminine scent!

I *love* this perfume. I bought the 1oz version first and when it ran out, I immediately purchased a larger version.

PROS:
- warm, cozy scent. I wear this to bed and it helps me relax every time.

- romantic!

- The candied ginger overtones are natural and subtle and give way to the vanilla scent naturally.
- sweet without being cloying.

- layers very well with more floral scents (I recommend just a touch of lavender essential oil underneath for the ultimate bedtime vibes)

- wonderful for winter or spring!

- not too heavy -- the sillage isn't as intense as other gourmands, and I like it that way.

- more 'grown up' than other similar scents -- I wear this around clients (I'm a lawyer) without feeling juvenile or that I smell like their teen daughters.

- lingers on clothes!

- people have compared this to warm vanilla sugar by bath and body works, but I think it's much nicer, more complex, and less artificial than that.

CONS:

- The longevity absolutely leaves something to be desired. It doesn't last as long as I'd like on skin -- I have to reapply every two to three or so hours to keep the scent going.

- not a warm weather scent -- I wont be wearing this in the summer (except to bed)

- I think the price is alright, but not great given the longevity. you'll be using ~9 sprays a day for continued scent, which means the product goes quickly and you'll have to re-purchase sooner than other scents in the price category.

Perfect scent for summer

There's another review that says it smells like Vanilla, white chocolate, coconut, with a hint of sunscreen and they described it perfectly. I'm not usually one for sweet smelling perfumes, but this is sweet without being nauseating. I love the chocolate bar bottle and as an eau de parfum it should last quite a few hours, although I can't attest to that yet. Also, to be able to get the 2.5 oz bottle for $40 is a great price point and in my opinion will be worth every penny. I'm looking forward to using it all summer long.

Smells exactly like marshmallows and cocoa butter to me. It's very unique and smells delicious. It doesnt have the best staying power - pretty average. But it more than makes up for it with pure deliciousness!

This perfume reminds me of a bath and body works body spray called warm vanilla I think. Of course way more stronger and added notes. It’s a very warm, soft sweet fluffy smell. You definitely smell the vanilla/marshmallow/caramelized sugar. I don’t smell chocolate like some people say they do, maybe like a sweet white chocolate? Overall it’s a really nice perfume for a decent price. I’ll def repurchase in a bigger size next time. Ariana grandes sweet like candy and cloud pink are other really good sweet/marshmallow scents if anyone’s looking. But the more I smell this the more I really love it, such a lovely warm smell. Lasting power isn’t amazing but it’s also not bad. And in my opinion this scent is for any age.

I bought this due to the absolute rise of Sabrina Carpenter and her amazing music. Most peoples reviews (and including my own husband) say this smells of vanilla or chocolate or someone even said buttercream but truthfully to me, I get none of that. To me it smells like a sugary fruity perfume. I very much smell the candied ginger and bergamot prominently than the chocolate and vanilla. I absolutely love it though! It actually lasts longer than I was expecting, I could smell it on my wrists and elbows still at the end of the day. Highly recommend this perfume as it’s surely become a staple for me!

i loooooove this perfume, it’s exactly what i’ve been looking for! very sweet and edible. my mom said it smells like buttercream. the first day i couldn’t stop smelling myself. lasted through a whole shift of me working at a pizzeria and my boyfriene could still smell it!

This perfume does smell good. I won't lie, however, it doesn't last longer than 30 minutes. Even with putting Vaseline first, moisturizing, and then layering it with another perfume, it does not last past an hour. For the price of the perfume, I just don't feel like it's worth it. I think it should cost less than what it's going for.

This has got to be one of my new favorite scents I've tried recently. I am a very big fan of sweet gourmand scents and tend to buy perfumes that have vanilla/marshmallow notes and this perfume hits those notes spot on in such a pleasant way. On my first spritz the complexity of the candied ginger and chocolate top notes combined were a little surprising but the light marshmallow topped it off very nicely. The scent is very light and sugary and you only need about 3 or 4 spritz to get the full scent. After an hour the middle and base notes start to come out which are what make the perfume worth buying. The complexity of the two different sugar scents wear off to reveal a warm, cozy, delicious deep vanilla, marshmallow, and whipped cream scent that is just oh so heavenly to smell and be around. If a perfume could be edible I wish it would be this one with how delicious it makes me smell. Unfortunately the longevity of the perfume is something to be desired as it wears off into a weak vanilla scent after 4 or so hours and needs to be reapplied but it is definitely an experience while you can still smell it. If you like cheaper gourmand scents like Bath and Body Works Strawberry Pound Cake or Warm Vanilla Sugar, you will want to splurge a little on this delectable perfume.
