    This is by far the best salve-type product I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried a lot! It has a perfectly mild and sweet scent and the texture is silky smooth without leaving a bad residue. It softens/warms up in your hands better than any other product like this I’ve tried, and doesn’t seem to further dry out my lips like some chapsticks. It’s truly hydrating and softening and I can’t get over the amazing smell! Plus the tin it comes in is bigger than I expected, this will last me at least 6 months to a year I bet. Seriously recommend this product to anyone who’s looking for a reliable lip, face, and hands salve (especially if you have sensitive or dry skin).

    The tin is cute, but the actual product is terrible. The balm is hard wax; I had to gouge a bit out with my fingers to get some, and then it wasn't soft enough to rub on my hands. Reviews mentioned a nice scent and I could smell a very faint citrusy odor, but that was it. This was the second time I ordered it. The first never arrived and they refunded my money. It would be expensive even if it was a nice product. I know it was very popular for a while (due to a review in the NYT) and maybe their production has suffered, but what a waste.

    Smells great and works great on lips, but for hands it takes time to absorb into skin and is pretty sticky when applied. This is a wonderful moisturizer for nighttime, not daytime hand care.

    I purchased after trying a friend's who had purchased in a gift shop. When I received it was hard as a rock, nit like my friend's which was creamier. Smells good and can still use it, but I would not repurchase.

    I apparently didn't do my due diligence and discovered this product was not fragrance-free. I am sure the product is fine, but I can't use it due to its perfumed scent.

    It works better than Blistex and Savanna Bee lip balm and my hand, face and body lotions. It has a screw on top and goes through air port security. Wish it came in lavender but the scent is very mild.
