If you're like me (someone of a darker complexion) and wondering which shade is for you, I would recommend That’s Chic. It comes out so pigmented and it's not sticky at all. I have also noticed that it lasts pretty long as well and it's moisturizing for the lips. It is a great product, especially for the price. It also has a very fruity/berry scent. The only con is it might be a bit hard to apply if your lips are dry underneath.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite lip oil!
My go-to shade is Status Update, but I want to buy more shades. Status Update a chocolate shade with a touch of red, and I’ve never had any lip product quite like it. I love the creamy formula and how smoothly it applies without being sticky. Love the doe foot applicator and how my lips still feel moisturized even with extended wear. I can’t say the same for other lip oil products I own (but still enjoy for their tinting), and I’m on my third round of Status Update. Great price point, beautiful pigment and overall quality, PLUS melanin friendly! I absolutely love it.

I feel like the very fair to lighter medium toned skin would look great with this. On darker tones it may look too "milky" (like the color is separating into your lip lines, unless you like that look, you do you ????)
It's a very pretty nudes lipgloss that isn't too milky, it's just right. There is a barely noticeable fragrance to this (maybe faintly vanilla-ish? Not as strong as the Butter glosses), and tastes like almost nothing. I have posted a few pictures of it on my lips. Also a picture of my bare lips for comparidon. Sorry, no makeup on, just this gloss!
I do recommend it, but for darker complexions, maybe choose one of the gorgeous darker nude shades they just came out with. Unless you like that lighter milky look, then get this one ????????
The formula is beautiful and perfect. Very soothing, smoothing, nourishing and has the perfect amount of gloss for everyday.
I also have the berry shade "So Chic", and it's more of a jelly like finish, I guess similar to the Tower 28 jelly-like glosses, pigmented but also see-through with a glassy, juicy shine. The color of that one is also stunning, if you want a juicy blackberry meets red currant kind of color. You need to use a mirror to apply it as it can get messy fast haha.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really nice!
It really nice! It appears to be so far since I've been trying it out to be really nice and it looks nice on me what I can see. It smells nice. Doesn't seem to have any funky weird smell, which is nice. I'm not sure what to take of the taste it your tongue does come contact to it it's not a nasty taste it does give like as it says the name oil kind of taste oily but. But it's not a bad one but it feels a bit different taste a bit different. When you're wearing it and drinking eating something you're consuming it meets contact with it you're going to taste it and it's not a terrible taste, nothing funky, which is nice. You can definitely feel it on your lips it's not super weighing down but if you apply it like I do I do at least two three coats and it has some weight to it but it's a smooth not super heavy not feathery light I guess but I don't quite know how to explain it a weight knowing that it's there but not a weighing down weight. It doesn't feel over oily or gooey, which is nice. It does look kind of gooey and sticky as you get it out just remember to shake it I forget to do that. So far for me it's been nice I don't know it's not terrible but I'm still unsure how I feel about it I like it but it's just kind of a more oily lip gloss, instead of a creamy like lip gloss more of what I'm used to and I really like so I still like it but it's feels kind of different weird than my usual what I like to wear. I got it on sale so for me it was definitely worth the money. All this makeup stuff's kind of pricey for me I just wear it for special occasions or just feel like perking myself up. Maybe doing a little sprucing myself a bit up I guess you could say. It's not terrible I like it but I'm used to it ignore creamy or gloss it is like it says in the name the more oily but not like oily watery oily there is some more thickness to it which I like. The price for it is not terrible but it's a little bit more pricey for my liking for what I got it for on sale I definitely would like to get it again but I have to wait until I have it but if it comes on sale again I would definitely purchase at least two or three of them!

Really nice!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Gloss
I'm a fair skinned blonde & initially ordered two colors that were too harsh against my skin. (These were Follow Back and Newsfeed.) Very pretty colors for a darker complexion, though.
Reordered Missed Call and Chillin Like a Villain and these are perfect for me. They look soft and natural and compliment pale skin. I think Chillin is probably the color that would suit literally every skin type & occasion. It's quite versatile and the most neutral.
It's an interesting gloss: somewhere between a lipstick and gloss, but not heavy or sticky. You can apply one coat and keep it simple or add another for a more dramatic look. Makes this item suitable for both day and night wear.
I use these two shades alone or layered together. I like them so much I'll probably order a few more to keep in my car/purse, etc. Nice product, handy size and priced right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shiny, Glossy, Moisturizing, Pretty much perfect given its competition.
Late review here. Tried others and am finally coming back. It's not perfect. I wish it lasted longer, I wish it didn't get on clothes and other skin. But it's pretty and glossy. Others are worse. Re-calibrating my expectations. Given the others, this one is REALLY GOOD.
