I was hesitant to try gel glue but after trying this one, I won’t use anything else! I bought this after trying a nail bond that was twice the price and didn’t work. This gel glue is awesome! It’s easy to work with, any excess just peels off. It does take some practice getting all of the air bubbles out but overall super happy with the hold. I’ve been wearing mine for a week now with no issues. I found that it’s better to have too much with a little overflow vs. not enough which causes air bubbles and the product not spreading out evenly. The viscosity is perfect, it’s not too thick and not runny at all. It’s easy to work with and very forgiving. Overall I’m very impressed and won’t use anything else! I’d recommend watching some how-to videos online on how to properly apply tips with gel glue (from back to front, pressing firmly to squeeze air bubbles out) and having a decent LED/UV lamp.

I, 16F, have been doing Gel X nails for around six months or so. I originally bought the Beetles Gel X beginner kit but the glue would not last even 3 or 4 days (even when I prepped according to instructions). I asked a friend of mind who also does Gel X and she recommended me a different glue and said the Beetles glue didn't work for her either, and the glue she recommended really worked. The tips that came with the Beetles set were flimsy and didn't last long without folding or breaking (even with the good glue). I waited until I ran out of tips, then asked my friend who recommended me the glue, for nail tips and she recommended me these nail tips. I asked if she used any primer or anything and she said no and that she only used a alcohol wipe before putting the glue on. The inside of the tips come etched so that makes my prepping stage 6-7 minutes faster. These tips are a little shorter than what I'm used to handling (my old tips were longer but I'd have to cut them down to get this size) because generally, longer tips are easier to handle and apply because you have more grip room but I made it work. I really liked the size and I didn't have to do any more shaping or sizing. They lasted me 2 or 3 days without any lifting (normally the time they start peeling) before I had to take them off due to an allergic reaction to a new gel polish I tried. The were very sturdy and took a bit to get them off ( I forgot I had foils so it took me halfway through the process to use them lol) but that just shows how strong and good they are. I highly recommend them.

So I’ve been repurchasing this for a few month now. It works wonders. It’s my go to glue since I started doing my own nails. Not thick and clear. But is very strong! Please read when it does say needs UV light to dry. It can last up 2 weeks with proper care, but definitely will 100% last a week.

Tips for use:
-Use nail clips (provided photo above) when using UV light to dry the glue for security. I do notice a big difference when not using those. FYI those clips were purchased separately.

-Before entering your nails under UV light to dry them, remove the excess from top of nail. Because you will have clumps of dry glue on cuticles. I usually just apply glue then nail. From there add the nail clip and any excess glue is cleaned with a dry q-tip. So your nails look flawless and last longer with no clumps.

So I'm a long time purchaser of press ons but wanted to start making in between sets for when I want something quick and simple. I noticed in some reviews that they mentioned the shorts being more medium length and needing to be trimmed but I was ordering mediums so I figured that wouldn't be an issue for me. I was wrong. These nails are definitely not a medium but thankfully I was thinking about exploring the long life so I just took this as a sign to get started. I noticed when clicking on certain sizes (like the medium coffins I have) the listing itself says long coffin instead of medium and a few other sizes do the same thing so even though the amazon listing has it as one size check the actual title of the product when you change it and that's more than likely what you're gonna get.

The other thing that honestly everyone should do is double check your sizes cause the first set I tried to make I did it with my usual sizes but the sizing with any nail brand is a little different so don't assume and really get in there and check. In my case my regular 0-5-4-5-8 was super off the mark and I ended up with 2-7-6-7-10 so pretty good jump there. The worst case scenario is you get ones that are too big and cause pain at your cuticle and damage to your nail or small ones that look odd. Take your time and ensure a good fit.

As far as quality I love love love these! They are so beautiful and sturdy! I'm a software engineer and gamer who uses mouse and keyboard so I definitely am a little rough on my nails but they stand strong and don't bend or break. This is definitely my new go to brand and I can't wait to buy more shapes and maybe try out a few more intricate designs. Definitely a must buy.

I bought these ages ago and recently got back into doing my nails. Now I remember why I stopped. These nails have a very extreme arch to them, such that getting them to adhere to my nails with glue is a little tricky and once they are attached, flex my nails with them to the point that it hurts. These are one of the first press-on nails I've ever tried, and I will not be buying them again.
