This is my first amazon review, I wish I was getting paid for this because maybe long reviews is my calling. I NEED to discuss with you THEE IT Girl, Floral Marshmallow by Dossier, but first you need to know me a little— Love Don't be Shy by KILIAN is MY signature scent, and I've indulged in purchasing it more times than I’d like to publicly admit. It's just so.. me. As a hot woman, I’m intentional about being sensational in all aspects including sense of smell, and Love Don't be Shy is apart of my lifestyle, it’s the scent I choose to show up wearing in the world. I genuinely receive multiple compliments daily. I’ve gotten opportunities just from my fragrance being the conversation starter. It’s an attractive fragrance that enhances your beauty.

I’m not a gate keeper, so I always share when someone asks what I’m wearing. Who wouldn’t want to brag about the fragrance known to be one of Rihanna’s favourites, especially after spending almost $400 on it? Duh.. And what I loved is that because of the expensive price tag, the chances of friends or co workers going out of their way to smell just like me was low – again, it is MY signature fragrance and, it’s okay to have some things in life that you want just for yourself. Now, being a savvy shopper in today's economy, I was thrilled to discover Dossier's Floral Marshmallow.

Let me tell you, I am beyond impressed. I genuinely cannot distinguish between my original Love Don't be Shy fragrance and Dossier's Floral Marshmallow – they are I????DEN????TI????CAL???? Plus, it has the same lasting power, which admittedly isn't the longest. It’s never been. With LDBS, I will find myself needing to reapply multiple times a day; which along with the hefty price, is another reason why I wanted to buy Floral Marshmallow. I want to spray away without feeling guilty, and Floral Marshmallow literally takes the last digit off the price of LDBS. I've tried various tricks to make it last longer, but both Love Don't be Shy and Floral Marshmallow linger for about 3 hours on me, just for reference. So when you get Floral Marshmallow, don’t be surprised. They both don’t last long. I know, why would I purchase a fragrance that doesn’t last all day? It smells THAT good. I don’t even care. I can’t live without it. It is what it is.

I won't delve into the scent details and notes because what you really want to know is if it’s an exact match – this review is for those who have their heart set on Love Don't be Shy and are searching for a dupe. Trust me, add it to cart and click purchase. Period. I only wish I had discovered it years ago; it would've saved me thousands spent on Love Don't be Shy. I will try some of the other inspired fragrances from this brand, as I want to keep Floral Marshmallow as a daytime scent and find something sexier for date night’s with my Fiancée, or dinners with the girlies! Smells something like Irises

I love floral scented perfumes, but they’re often far too strong for me to be able to wear without getting a headache or sneezing. This is sweet and soft enough that it doesn’t bother me, and to me it smells like Iris flowers which I’m very allergic to (pollen), so it’s nice to be able to smell that without sneezing.

I got this because a friend had on and showed me Love Don't Be Shy and I thought I could inhale it forever. This smells really good, but it's not an exact dupe. This is pretty high on the marshmallow smell, which I like a lot, but the inspiration perfume is a bit more musky/earthy, which was a bit disappointing. The flower smell is not grand, which I also like.

Basically, smells like a slightly more mature campfire marshmallow from B&BW. Could use some tweaking to be closer, but smells good as it's own thing.

This is my second dossier perfume. They're both strong but not overpowering and last a good amount of time. Great price of course. For both of mine I didn't like them when I first got them, and then it grew on me, and now I love them. My first bottle is almost empty. Something about their perfumes makes it smell considerably different on each person, so keep in mind your natural notes.

First off, I own and wear Kilian’s “Love Don’t Be Shy” - and, only because I found 1 bottle for $95 on sale (probably a once in a lifetime occurrence). This perfume along with Victor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb, Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid and Flowerbomb Nectar are my all time favorite scents (my next purchase will be Dossier’s Gourmand White Flowers) - I also own and wear these 3 name brand perfumes. THIS version of LDBS is spot on - easily 90-95% accurate. I was, frankly, stunned. How they replicated a $300 perfume for $49 I can’t imagine, but they did it. What I love about this is I can wear this with the Designer fragrance and, thereby extend it. Allowing me to wear as much as I like and have it last much longer. Of course, I can and will wear it by itself after my bottle of LDBS runs out. If you are hesitant to buy this, don’t be. This is NOT your typical “fake” alcohol heavy, barely reminiscent fragrance like just about every other dupe out there. This smells rich, expensive, and simply amazing.

I have tried nearly every high end perfume you can find at Sephora and wasn’t happy with any of them, all of them were to floret or two musky, no good combination, and they caused me to have a headache. The second I sprayed this dossier perfume I feel like I was taken to heaven, this was exactly the scent I have always dreamed of but never found. Now I need this in a body wash and lotion to.

Blind buy/Honest review

This fragrance was a blind buy for me after hearing all the good reviews about LDBS/Rihanna signature fragrance. I tried it on as soon as I got it and was not impressed, it’s just too sweet. It’s hard to describe but it’s almost a sickly sweet scent. I can also see where some reviewers were coming from when they said it smelt like sweet urine. I’m sure it comes down to body chemistry but this is a hard no for me I actually got nauseous, luckily the scent didn’t last long after being outside for 2 hours.
Update: my original review was in March it’s now 2 months later. I read about letting perfume sit in a dark cool place to “settle” so it’s been in my bathroom cabinet since I purchased it. I sprayed it again yesterday and OMG it still stinks! I tried to be optimistic but I feel bamboozeld. Either this is not a good replica (which in the case the price should be brought down) or this only smells good to certain people. My 5yo even said it stinks and he didn’t even see my initial reaction to it.

I’m a long time Killian LDBS buyer and wanted to try this out as a layering option. This literally smells JUST like LDBS, is super long lasting and you get so much for the price. I’m about to buy a few more bottles just to have on hand because shipping took a little longer than I expected.
