I have only been using it for a couple days and it has been magical for my hands. I am a nanny and I wash my hands constantly. Which leads them to stay dry and crack.
The Working Hands feels very soft feeling, not really sticky or oily. It also dries fast and leaves your hands feeling smooth.

Great for dry hands during winter or from hard work

My ex-wife introduced me to this stuff years ago, after my hands got pretty messed up from a combination of my extremely dry skin, my job being hard on the hands, and the cold dry air of winter. It's now winter time and different job but same issues. It's great at helping my hands heal and not have those patches (for me, it's my fingertips) where the skin cracks, bleeds, or tears. It has no scent, as far as I can tell. I like how it doesn't hurt if you put it on and you have a cut. It doesn't take long for my hands to go back to being not so dry and damaged.

It does make your skin a bit greasy, so that's why I use it before I go to bed. By the time I wake up, it's absorbed in and there's no sticky or greasy feeling. Highly recommended if you find that using lotion on your hands is not your thing.

I purchased this because I am constantly washing my hands due to the work that I do and this keeps my hands constantly wet, therefore causing my hands to always be chapped and peeling. My hands get so chapped and cracked that they bleed and hurt. That is how bad they get... and with this cold weather, it does not help. After reading a few other reviews about O'Keeffe's and figured I would give it a try. This stuff works so well and my hands now are soft and no longer cracking. I been using this daily for 2 weeks and I only used half of the container. The secret is also rubbing it on thick at night, rubbing it in very well, and wearing cotton gloves. What I love is that this stuff is not greasy and it doesn't just sit on the skin but goes into it.

Smooth Hands

Whenever I get asked how my hands are so smooth, I mention this product. When used as a layer before Aquaphor, this product is a holy grail. It leaves my hands moisturiser, especially my cuticles. I work in healthcare so my hands are dry from all the have washing and sanitizer so I belive this product is a big reason why my hands still look and feel so soft. A little bit goes a long way so it is worth the money. There is no scent which is a huge plus.

I work in a restaurant so I'm constantly washing my hands, using chemicals and sanitizers. During the winter months, my hands are extra dry and crackly due to weather alone. Add that to my occupation, my hands looks iike death! To the point where my skin starts separating from the nails, open cuts due to dryness.. not a pretty look on a girl's hand! Went through so many brands specifically for dry hands but of course it was costly. Not only costly, I felt like my regular hand cream was not working due to the severity of my dry hands at that point. I was looking for an alternative to take to work and came across this product. I liked the price point and easy to travel size. Little does go a long way! If you put too much, feels like wax on your skin. I put it on before and after my shift. Within a few days, I noticed a dramatic difference! Skin looks more moisturized and youthful. Once I got out of the "danger" dry hand zone, I switched to my regular hand cream. Would highly recommend if you're suffering for really dry hands.

good lotion, a couple notes

I haven't used a ton of different lotions, I just pick something up at random or use something I have lying around when it starts getting below freezing, as my hands tend to dry up a little bit during winter. There's a couple things I like about this enough to write a review about it:
- It's a thick compound, something between room temp coconut oil and softened butter. You really do not need to apply much for a sufficient moisturization of wherever you're applying it to. These two things together make one container last a really long time, I'll probably still be using this one container in two years if it doesn't go bad somehow, very good value for money.
- It doesn't make your hands slick. I can see why it'd be specifically marketed to working hands. You could keep this stuff in your garage and not have to worry about not being able to hold tools for the next 20 minutes. The lid is also rubberized and very easy to open.
- I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but I haven't had any negative reactions to the product. I also apply a bit to my face every other day or so. It apparently has one ingredient that may cause blackheads on the face, though I haven't had this issue.
- It really is unscented. You have to stick your nose right into the container to get any hint of a scent, and even then it's just a very neutral "clean laundry" kind of smell.
- I have an on-and-off problem biting my nails and chewing skin around my nails. I haven't specifically gone out of my way to get lotion around these areas, but my nails and skin seem to heal a little faster and a little bit cleaner/more evenly.

Overall, very satisfied with this lotion at this pricepoint. Will likely stick with this brand going forward.
