With the right prep these will last weeks! I always be sure to file the inside of the nail even though it is etched to make sure they last as long as possible! It’s a little tricky at first but once you get going it gets easier. I cut the tips down quite short which made them a little less sturdy so I bought some shorter tips and it fixed my problem! I highly recommend this kit!

I reconnect buying your own glue separate! I buy the 6 in 1 Gelike EC glue. SO GOOD! But these nails are awesome! It sucks there are some of the nails that are HUGE so those are kind of a waste but I’ve already done my nails like 4-5 times and I can prob still get at least 4 to 5 more times in! Each set lasts me anywhere from 2-3.5 weeks!!!! Just like real acrylics!!!

Tips and light are great but glue isn't

These tips and light are great but the glue didn't work great for me. My nails started popping off after a couple days. I tried getting a different brand of glue and they stay on much longer now.

I got this product to stop spending so much at the nail salons. It’s worth every penny. They last about 2 weeks once you get the hang of it. I definitely recommend buying a primer/dehydrator to put on real nails before gluing fake nails on. Also watch a few YouTube videos to get the hang of how much glue to use so they turn out perfect!

Obviously a good prep is needed for longevity of any nail product, but I feel as though these would still last at least a couple weeks without prep. I did do my prep and use my bonder. Then when I went to adhere the nails I could tell the gel glue was gripping really well. I say I'm shocked because I've tried other gel nail kits that disappointed me bc they didn't last or wer flimsy. I'm confident that this set is going to last because this product is really good. Even the nails are strong but not super thick. I'm so happy. As you can see in the pics I had them long at first and then I cut them. If you like them long the shape is gorgeous without having to shape them. 5 stars!

Good if you need a quick hails set. The nails are not strong as in the bend when doing certain things. The light and glue to use bond instantly but doesn’t last more then two days on me. So I recommend actually using Just nail glue.

I’ve tried EVERY way to do nails at home even acrylics, and Gel X is superior. Super easy application so I can get right into design. I recommend adding a layer of the 5 in 1 to the top of the nails to help keep the tips from bending. I am really hard on my hands and I get 2-3weeks of wear. I can’t believe how much a salon charges for these when it’s so easy to do at home.

I got this kit when it was on a crazy good sale and was super excited to try a new kit (i had only tried the bete gel x kit prior) and this was such a big let down. I could do my nails on a tuesday and they start lifting by that saturday (that’s been my experience this application time specifically which urged me to review but for the past few months of trying/using this kit basically the same turn around time after every application). With the bete kit i never had this issue and they would last 3-4 weeks every time and that’s what i expected with this kit as well as i haven’t changed anything i’m doing in terms of nail prep. don’t waste your money or time on this one, i’m going back to the bete kit even though it bugs me to leave so much product unused with this one i just can’t stand it anymore. i feel like i put a good amount of time into my prep and design of my nails and want them to last me that 3-4 week at a time but i would even settle for 2 and since i can’t even make it a full week i see no point.
EDIT: i don’t know if this plays a factor into the longevity (i honestly don’t think it would) but i’ve gotten contact dermatitis with this product as well. i’ve never experienced this before and i’m typically not super sensitive/allergic to anything - even if you still want to give this product a shot just be careful if you tend to react more to certain ingredients. just ordered another bete set and cannot WAIT to be back to normal without this product. sorry modelones, we had a itchy and irritated run and i’m glad it’s over.
