I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Facial Cleanser for a few weeks now, and it’s perfect for my oily, acne-prone skin. This cleanser strikes the right balance between being gentle and effective. It leaves my skin feeling clean without stripping it or making it feel tight, which is a big win for an oil-free cleanser.

The foaming action is light and refreshing, and it does a great job at removing excess oil and dirt. My face feels fresh and balanced after each wash, without any residue left behind. Over time, I’ve noticed fewer breakouts and less shine, especially in my T-zone.

I needed a GOOD, oil-free cleanser for middle-aged skin. I found it. Several dermatologists have mentioned this brand to me, and Amazon had the best price on this cleanser. Worth every penny. It leaves my skin feeling CLEAN, NO residue, foams beautifully and rinses easily. No irritation whatsoever: I find it very gentle with only the lightest scent if any. Does not strip my skin, no dryness issue. I love everything about it and now that I e found it, I will be ordering again.

This is a great face wash if you’re dealing with more excessive oil on your face, as it pulls out all that oil and leaves your skin bare. It has a good lather, so you don’t need much product. The bottle is also a good size (measurements are there, of course), so it’s been a long time!! Pair it with a good moisturizer to avoid flaky/dry skin after your routine.

With continued use, it’s suitable for acne control/prevention. The only downside you might find is the smell. If you’re sensitive to smell, this may not be the best daily wash, as it does have a chemical smell that could be irritating if strong smells are an issue for you.

Overall, it’s a decent product; it lasts long, has a good lather, and does what it’s made to do. I will be purchasing again once I run out! :)

The best face wash I have ever used and I have tried a lot of them. My face is combination oily and dry and it makes my life so hard. This face wash takes care of the oil while not being overly drying. I am also prone to some cystic acne on my jawbone only which is so frustrating but this wash really helps keep that at bay. I double cleanse with this face wash and so far that has been super effective. It has a very mild smell and it foams and bubbles up nicely.

Appreciated this bottle survived transport given it was unwrapped but snuggly placed in a bigger box of smaller ones (ie zero leakage). Love Laroche cleanser. Strong enough to strip away dirt and makeup but not natural oils. Leaves my skin feeling super soft and, plump. My first step of my skin care routine followed by toner or exfoliant (at night), serums, and moisturizer. I have very sensitive skin and this leaves no irritation. This is round 2 with laroche cleanser. Purchased during prime week at less cost than retail stores. Very effective for my melanin facial needs!

I use this cleanser in the shower or when my face feels dirty and it makes it feel so clean. I highly recommend using some type of moisturizer after using this because it sucks the moisture out of my face and makes it dry. It does not cause any irritation to my skin or redness, but it does make my face feel dry. Like I said, just use some moisturizer and you are all good! It cleans my face so well!
