Covering beauty for over a decade, founder Bee Shapiro became pregnant with her daughter Ellis and was living in Brooklyn (hence Ellis Brooklyn!). Bee found there were no sophisticated clean options for fragrance. She went on a journey to redefine perfume in the clean beauty era. Ellis Brooklyn officially launched in 2015, driven by a passion for beautifully scented, sustainably sourced fragrances that evoke well-being and real-life experiences.

As a lover of a sweet baked goods smell this is...it. It's a pleasant sweet scent with a deep and rich complexity. I'm not a huge fan of the travel size bottle ( I wouldn't travel with it, top seems like it could pop off easily) that being said it goes a long way. I tilt the bottle and dab my inner elbow area and rub and any lingering product on the edge goes on my neck. Smells like a holiday hug, sweet and inviting.

My husband bought it. Right of the package you can smell it. I'm mixed on the scent. Its perfect for walking around the beach, to me. It smells like a Caribbean vacation. I sprayed a regular pump amount and it was very strong. I had to wash it off and try a tiny bit. It was perfect. Still too strong for me, so i gifted it to my mom.

This is a true vanilla scent with a strong powdery milk note. It lasts about four hours with decent projection. One of my complimented fragrances. If you love gourmand or vanilla this is for you!

I was very excited to try this perfume to go along with my Olive brand shower gel and lotion. First when I received it, it was WAY smaller than I expected. (My fault though, I should have read the description/size) This smell was not for me. To me, it smells nothing like the sea or salt or salty air etc. It smells like just
perfume but not a specific smell. Its a bit hard to explain, but almost like any perfume would smell if you took our the notes that made it different from others, almost like a perfume base. I will say perfumes are hard as each person has different taste and perfume smells different on each person so I hate to bash the actual smell. The packaging was very nice but its not a spray top, its just a kinds dab it on situation. Make sure you check the size of perfume you are getting, this is more of a sample size than anything.

I have been looking for a new perfume that is unique and not one I would would smell on someone else in the ladies dressing room. The only thing I don’t care for is patchouli, we don’t blend whatsoever! So I tend to stick to florals and citrus perfumes! Which is fine.So I tried Salt and it wasn’t floral or citrus but I couldn’t stop smelling it! This is an addictive scent! One you don’t come across often at all , but it is alluring and I have had compliments from people who I hardly know! At first you don’t know if you like it or not but it grows on you like a lover’s crush. This scent is not for the person who wants to smell like everyone else, but if you’re confident in your own skin then put this perfume on and see how you look at things then.
