I am 57 (again). Different story. I tried this mascara in the waterproof formula and it did not disappoint. Something about the skin around my eyes is oily or something that causes regular mascara to make me look like a tired raccoon. Most waterproof mascara I have tried tend to flake and clump. This stuff is what I have been looking for since losing my go to 25 years ago. My natural lashes are light and thin and short. Everything you don't want. This mascara gave me length, volume and lasting lash color. It stays on my lashes all day. No running or smudging or fading. As an older gal, I can no longer wear mascara on my bottom lashes. I am all good with that when my top lashes don't look like a clumpy mess. I was thinking I should add a before after pic or one one eye and not other. Still thinking about it. In total, very pleased with product, packaging and wand. It is different in a good way. I have control. The outcome was better than expected. This might not be for everyone. But it is for this one. Please don't stop making it!!!!

Love this product.It is amazing works.As it says, and in the picture, this is just one coat if you want longer lashes, and thicker I put 2 Coats most of the time, but today I just wanted one.It's amazing. Also, it does not come off very easily, not even with soap and water.You literally need like a Vaseline and q-tip.Or like wipes with some kind of vaseline to clean it all off. Gently just rub it on your eyes and it comes off easily.

I rarely wear Mascara. I have short straight lashes that can’t hold curls at all. On top of that I have oily skin so usually even waterproof mascaras end up giving me raccoon eyes. THIS takes care of all of those issues. This is now my new go-to mascara. The only con is that it’s a bit tough to remove. But hey for all those pros I can totally invest in a good eye makeup remover.

This is waterproof not smudge proof. I searched up waterproof only so I should of known the difference. It's ok for me it clumps and then by the end of the day under eye smudging and I do not wear it on my bottom lashes

I bought this because of all the great reviews. Not sure what all the hype is about. This mascara makes a clumpy mess. It does not go on smoothly and you have to keep brushing through your lashes to get all the clumps out. It is a great waterproof mascara, that is the only plus. Don't waste your money unless clumpy lashes are what you are looking for. I will stick to Essence.
