- AnthonyGreat bargain renewedI am going to give an honest review, so far, about these cameras and the condition they were received as this was an Amazon renewed product.
To start with, for the price paid these cameras were a steal. 2 Pan tilt cameras for $56, yes they are from the renewed store but the packages i received were original box, with the original mounting bracket and hardware, screws with anchors, a little instruction pamphlet, an Amazon renewed pamphlet, there was a plastic film over the lens. All in the original packaging.
Ok. So as far as renewed or refurbished, these in my opinion are basically brand new cameras. Not a scratch on them, all OEM hardware in the original box.
Regarding the Wyze cameras, the Wyze ecosystem, the fact that i can use an SD card to store video locally and not need to use a paid subscription, i do use the 2.99 / month / camera cloud so i can have live recorded instant replay of motion or sounds, maybe i could do that all free but i like the app and the convenience.
