- DWGood Device, But Battery Life Fell ShortOverall, this device mostly lived up to my expectations. The screen and body arrived in excellent condition—no scratches, dents, or functional issues, which I appreciate. However, the battery life was at 87%, lower than I had hoped. I expected at least 93–94%.
I specifically chose Woot as the seller and even waited nearly 3 weeks because it is owned by Amazon. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t justify the wait. If the device was going to arrive with only 87% battery life, I could have purchased it from any other seller.
Previously, I purchased a refurbished iPhone 12 directly from Amazon, which came in a special “Amazon Renewed” box. This time, however, the device arrived in a generic third-party box, which felt inconsistent with what I expected from an Amazon-owned company. If Woot is going to package products like a third-party seller, the advantage of choosing Woot becomes unclear. Maybe, I should have ordered it from Amazon, not Woot.
I understand that Amazon defines “excellent condition” as a battery life of over 80%, but I believe that standard is too low. My main concern is that the battery health shows 83%, while many other customers have received theirs with 90% or even 93%. Overall, the phone looks good and works fine so far. I’m still observing it.
