- TonyNice sawNice saw, comes in real handy. I've cut plywood and 2x4s with ease. Lightweight and powerful.
- Tash14teenerMarita 61/2” 18v bare tool saw is AOKThis is a solid 18 V Battery saw. I left my original on the Island I was living on along with my other Mikita 18 V
Drills. I’ve missed them every day since. I wasn’t sure whether to buy a new set of drills & saw or just get a bare saw. I kept 2 drills& sawzall here at home so with only 2 batteries now it’s time for that decision. This saw worked great out of box, & was true, & 90 degrees to base. The price came down to a point where I said that’s it. - Book BuyerGreat ToolThe more cordless tools I use, the more i wonder how i managed before.
The blade capacity is only 6 1/2", but for most cuts, that's fine. Wish it came with a case, but the price was right. - Richard W, NJGo to toolLight, powerful saw. Reasonable price for product. Makita products are well designed and manufactured.
Their products seem like they were designed by users not budget accountants.
Have 2 of these saws and they work great for medium duty . Have one attached to a Kreg 4’ guide and works great for sizing 4x8 3/4 ply.. Strongly recommend cutting on 2” foam for cleaner, no jamb cuts.
This is the third Makita reconditioned tool I bought and I don’t see any difference from new except the price. Purchased a few knock off batteries and interchange them with OEM but havnt noticed difference in power or length of service. Have my first Makita cordless drill , 9.6 v 50 + years old , still use it and I think I’m on my third battery. Hope new batteries-and me- last as long.
I don’t do much heavy work but I find cordless is the way to go. Seems for smaller and remote work it takes me longer to find and set up cords than to do the work. - MariaMaquitaLo recomiendo 100 espectacular
- Shannieek RedwoodNo battery and charger was on itLove it but no battery was on it
- LanaCouldn't even tell it is refurbished.Looks and works like new. I love the saw. My new favorite tool.
I don't know how I was living with the corded one previously :)
I've done much framing with it and it is so convenient when you are framing a roof not to have cords. - Mechanical EngineerLEFT HAND SAWThis is a LEFT HAND SAW. No where stated in the description. I have never seen a left hand saw.
When held in your right hand, the main support side of the saw is on the drop section: the piece of wood that falls to the ground.
Probably a great saw, but really only for lefties.
