- Jennifer MavisQuality unit.Purchased to replace our 120v stove top unit in our RV. It was about 1/4inch wider than the original 14 year old unit, but fit fine after a quick trim of the Corian countertop (although it can also be used on top of the counter. Heats well and looks nice. Purchased a second unit to use outside when needed and it'll be a good backup if the forst one fails. Looks nice and appears to be decent quality.
- Susan S PlattGreat cooktop Fantastic priceIt works very well. I had the induction plate but after a few years decided to go back to this type. It is not too fast to heat up or cool off. But it cooks better for me. Fits on my counter. Has some minute sound but not much. If required it has high power. This really covers everything I was looking for.
- Jim moweryWorks great!Nice unit so far. It's being used in a RV so we have more options when on the road. Plenty of power to cook on both burners at the same time and boil water or adjust each individually.
To boil water I use one setting past the middle...2 more clicks to go. (Touches, since it's a touch top)
Glass on top with a metal frame that can be mounted in the counter top, comes with rubber feet for counter top use.
There is a fan that comes on to cool down the electronics while cooking and it will continue until the unit is cooled down. There are indicators for a hot top and whether it's on or off, and the wattage being used to cook.
I like it.
If it continues to work for 4 or 5 years I'd give it a 5 star.
I'd recommend it to anyone!! - Robert DowneyWhat is that annoying beep when device is offEdit: if your unit beeps all you have to do is unplug it from power for 5 minutes plug it back in and the beep will go away. We installed a 120 volt switch in between the power and the unit so that we can simply turn the power on and off manually without having to unplug it. The issue for me is minor enough that it does not affect the overall performance.
We like the look of the unit, but......
The darn thing beeps randomly every hour or so and it is off. Never even used it yet. Just installed, plugged in and BEEP.......BEEP.

- classactworks well but flawedIt works great! However, the cooktop developed an irregularly shaped stain the first time I used it. There was nothing that could be seen on the pan or cooktop that could have caused this. I returned it. Also I turned it off after using it but the red light came on, which I understand is normal. But the unit beeped every hour or so until I unplugged it. Not life-shattering but annoying!

- Tyson B.Great with one short fallIts beautiful, modern. Quiet and useful. Only issue iv come across with mine was that you need to have the stove on in order to use the childproof function. Which makes no sense to me. Still I found that putting a drawer liner on top (after its cooled) stopped any unwanted accidental touches. I mean the buttons are too sensitive lol. If you whip off the glass it touches every button. If a cat walks across it. Its on. If a child touches it. You get it. The child safe function should work preemptively so to keep any unwanted accidents. That's kind of a major issue. Still looks amazing and I don't mind keeping it under the mat in between use.
