This is a great little wine cooler for small spaces that looks nice and works great. We don’t have a huge kitchen or much counter space, so this 6 bottle wine cooler is the perfect size. It holds just the right amount of wine bottles for the 2 of us. This wine cooler is the perfect way to store wines at the right temperature and the right humidity without taking up space in our main kitchen fridge. It kept the red and white wines at a steady temperature and the digital control was easy to use. The lighting was good. There is a soft humming noise, but it’s not annoying in any way. It looks nice in the kitchen and the mirrored front with easy controls is a bonus. The door is well sealed and it swings open easily. It’s portable and not too heavy so we can move it around, if needed. The manual said when the wine cooler is empty, it’ll reach 46 degrees Fahrenheit in 2 hours. I plugged it in and the temperature was 66 degrees Fahrenheit. I set a timer and in 25 minutes, it reached 46 degrees Fahrenheit. We’re casual drinkers so 46 degrees Fahrenheit is fine with us. There is a vent on the back of the wine cooler so you want to make sure you put the wine cooler in a location where the back doesn't get blocked. There’s also a HUGE sticker on the side of the wine cooler that says, “Cyclopentane,” which is a blowing agent for polyurethane foams that are used to insulate refrigerators. I guess the manufacturer wants to remind you that cyclopentane is being used, which is with every refrigerator on the market. If it spills on the floor, you’ll smell gasoline so be aware of that. I just wish the sticker wasn’t so big, but no one notices it because of the location of the wine cooler. Only we noticed it. - SRLLike it. Temperature performance: Set it to 48 °F (lowest temp possible) and it holds within ±1 °F (verified with two independent thermometers). Whites are cold as expected; the few beers I put in are cold, yes, but colder from my fridge.
Build & size:
• Exterior dimensions 20.5″ H × 16.2″ W × 10.1″ D – fits perfectly in about the only space I have for it.
• Holds 8 standard Bordeaux bottles on the shelves. Also fits a standard Champagne bottle on the bottom below the last helf. Enough horizontal room to sneak in four cans of beer along the sides.
• Smoked glass door with recessed handle looks sharp and blocks UV.
• Weight 21 lbs empty – easy to move when we rearrange.
Operation:
• Thermoelectric (no compressor) = nearly silent. I can’t hear it over the ceiling fan.
• Vibration is essentially zero – no sediment stirring in the bottles.
• LED interior light is soft blue; can be left on or off.
Power & reliability: Draws ~70 watts. Exterior stays cool to the touch.
Minor con – No lock (not an issue for us).
Bottom line: Quiet, stable, attractive, and keeps wine exactly where I want it. For the price, it outperforms every compressor mini-fridge I’ve owned.
Price is very fair.

The Ivation 8-Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler has been an awesome addition to our home. I do keep a couple bottles of wine in it, but honestly, it’s become my go-to spot for energy drinks, and they chill perfectly. Plus, it frees up space in the main kitchen fridge, which is a big win.
The fridge is larger than I expected, but it actually works out great. It looks stylish sitting on a small platform next to the couch, and the smoked glass door gives it a really sleek vibe. Best of all, it’s whisper quiet — you barely know it’s running.
Absolutely worth it, even if you’re not a big wine drinker! - GsdRogueGood Product For The Average ConsumerI was thrilled for the opportunity to request this wine cooler! By no means am I a sommelier, but this keeps my white wines chilled at just the right temperature.
While it's pretty big in terms of length/depth, it does have a nice overall aesthetic and would be beautiful if mounted among cabinets in a home kitchen. The front glass is slightly tinted, so when the light is on, it's not overly bright. The door opens and closes well, and there seems to be a nice, tight seal when it's closed. There is very little noise associated with this wine cooler - it is markedly quiet. There is a timer where the light will shut off on its own after several seconds, so that's a nice feature I appreciate to save a little energy.
Overall, this wine cooler is very functional and has a great storage capacity for 8 standard-size bottles. I give 4 stars because the temperature lock feature is a little annoying, but otherwise, for the average consumer, I am impressed with quality and value for the money at $169.
