- Sarah HillIt cleans my makeup sponges!I love this washing machine! I bought it to clean my makeup sponges. Other washers made for sponges didn't do the job at all, so I thought I'd try something with a little more power. It works perfectly! I have a habit of piling up sponges when I don't have time to clean them. So I end up wasting water to clean them all. This thing eliminates the wasting of water almost completely. Cuts down on the time spent doing it, too. First trial run, I put in too much soap. I use dish soap, like Dawn. Now I know not to add more than half a teaspoon. The soap cycle cleaned. Dumped out the dirty water, and ran them through a clean water cycle a couple of times. Now they're air drying. I am so glad I bought this washer. Totally worth the price.
- Elena BVery practical cordless mini washerI’ve been using this mini washing machine daily, and it’s one of those oddly satisfying little appliances that makes life easier. I use it for 3 very specific things, and it’s perfect for all of them.
1. Microfiber dish cloths
Microfiber should not be washed with cotton or other fabrics because it attracts lint like a magnet. Cotton fibers cling to microfiber, clogging it and reducing how well it cleans.
I also hate letting dirty dish cloths sit around waiting for a full load - they get stinky fast. Now I wash a dish cloth every night while loading the dishwasher, and it’s always clean and fresh.
2. Microfiber makeup towels & glasses-cleaning cloths
Same reason as above. These need to stay lint-free and shouldn’t be mixed with regular laundry. This washer lets me clean them right away instead of letting them pile up.
3. Merino wool
I’m a little obsessed with merino wool - my t-shirts, underwear, and socks are all 100% merino. It requires a separate gentle wash. Instead of collecting merino items for a big delicate load, I just wash 1-2 pieces at a time in this little washer, which is much safer for the fabric.
The small size is actually why I love it. It’s simple and uses very little water. I’m planning to take it on my 3-week trip to Africa next month so I can pack light and wash essentials along the way. - Paola Perez RiverosDoes not charge and when try run it turns softly for 1 second and the stopI have never been able to use this little peace of trash. - RedJarFun little washerDoes not fit as much as the description says. I could fit 2-4 pairs of socks but not more than that. The description made it seem like I could get a few pairs of men’s boxers or small clothing but I don’t think I could fit a blouse.
You could probably fit a camisole maybe two but would probably work really well for camping or traveling. Beach bathing suits may work okay but generally when you go to the beach, you have access to a washing machine if needed.
Don't use too much detergent and only use liquid. You have to really be careful how much soap you use. - read the teeny tiny directions and follow what it says. Which the instructions do say. I had to take a picture with my phone and then blow it up so I could read it.
It’s could be used to clean washcloths or rags. I could fit 4 in the container.
When I took it out of the box, it was already fully charged and I ran a few cycles.
I was testing different amounts of clothing making sure not to overflow itl. The lid doesn’t really screw on. It just sort of pulls off and pushes on. - Jessica BryantI'd buy it again.Okay it holds about half of what it says it can. It works great as long as it's not over loaded. If you put to much you can see it struggle to turn. It cleans what I put in it though. I did 2 pairs of socks and it did a great job. I also did some wash clothes. It's easy to use. It comes in handy.
- EMWorks well just a bit loudIt works but it’s loud. So don’t think you can run it while needing a quiet environment. Otherwise it does exactly what the description says!
