Although it can do so much more!I used setlist maker on an iPad for a couple years and loved it...my iPad Mini bit the dust recently so I decided to revive a Kindle Fire that was sitting idle. Luckily the Set List Maker app was available so I purchased it again and kept on moving. This is really a great app that allows me to keep up with songlists/setlists for my band. I used to use a spreadsheet but when I found this app, I was rescued from maintaining that list and now I can copy a previous setlist and modify and know that my show time is going to be spot on time wise. I have tried all of the free apps but the small amount I spent on this app twice was well worth the value to me! I would highly recommend this app to any serious gigging musicians!
- P. EganDoesn't import data from ipadDoesn't support import of song data that is exported from iPad,which I use today from iPad to iPad. I bought the fire 10 to maybe replace my back up iPad , may just box it up masks send it back to Amazon due to this program not working .the program has worked well on the iPad, but no luck here and bought it due to the app being supported on this device

- Richard LangIt isn't until after you get this and reach out to the developer that you get any idea of how it's supposed to work.This is an updated review. I saw this on a friend's tablet and it seemed perfect. The sales pitch is "load any songs you have and it will import them and display them (which chords) on your tablet. Well, that's valid IF your tablet is an iPad. On a Kindle Fire, however, there's little evidence that the developer spent time getting to know who uses the Fire and how they think - let alone how it works. So he's a MAC user/developer and thinks from there.
While I said I would change my review if we resolved an issue - I'm not satisfied with the resolution. I even upgraded to the 10; I get the screen to look as it should, but instructions and help files are a struggle. It took a help ticket to get him to tell me where he has tutorials (it' not even a link on his site); and again, those tutorials are seriously flawed. Here's one "for instance" - he keeps referring to importing documents. When I think documents, I think Word docs - but they didn't work. I tried text. They worked but were terrible.
It took me thirty minutes of going through his material to determine that Android systems ONLY work with .txt, .pdf or .jpg files. So now I busy converting a lot of songs to pdf format. Then I still have to get them in and get them working.
Basically, this is an IOS app. If you don't have an iPad, be prepared to struggle to find out what you need to know to have a prayer of making it work. - Jim OutlawGreat App,Great app that needs more documentation in laymen's terms. I've gone through a lot of these apps for lyric teleprompting, backing track playing and midi commands and this one just about hasit all. Unfortunately for me, it was just to difficult to understand and get consistent results from song to song.
