AND I know it comes directly from Liquitex so no middleman. Basics is a quality product with good artist quality pigments just in lower concentrations than the heavy body line. The colors are vibrant with a decent light fastness which as a professional artist I count on. The Basics line offers excellent value for the quantity of paint received when I don't want to burn through tubes of paint on large scale projects. This is a dependable trustworthy brand.

I don't get me wrong these are good student quality paints I just thought they would be more high quality since they're so hyped up all the time.
