Functions flawlessly, and accurately. Dual temp, which is nice. Has a little “foot” to hold it when not on use from falling over. It seems really well made, as most Gorilla products are. All in all, I say it beats the competition in quality and price point. Don’t think about it, just buy it already. You’ll be happy with it. Make something special, create gifts for holidays, or even use it to mend clothes without sewing ???? I know, that’s crazy, right? Well, it works well believe it or not. I’ve used it to mend jeans, and it holds up even after many washes! Everyone should have a glue gun on hand if you ask me. It’s a ridiculously useful tool that most don’t think of using until they have one, and then EVERYTHING becomes glued ????

The high temperature setting is very hot, so one should (obviously) take care not to get the lava hot glue on your fingers. The glue flow was smooth and the glue is very adhesive; much better than glue guns I used in the past. The cord is a bit short for me, but I didn't find this a deal breaker or worthy of a reduced rating.
