Its smooth velvet is strong and the wire is very pliable. I started one tree with the more expensive brand , but finished it with this brand. You can't tell the difference and it looks good! - VeriloqBeautiful If You Love GlitterI giving this 5 stars because it’s gorgeous and well made, a good continuous roll. Riblli ribbons are superb. But KNOW THIS: when it says GLITTER, it means really really glittery. Teeny tiny micro glitter like a powder, exploding everywhere. Wish I’d understood this, I didn’t, my fault. It’s not easy to work with as the edges were very heavy & hard to manipulate due to the glitter stripes, for me anyway. After struggling to make the large bows I needed, I finally realized I couldn’t have them in the house. Didn’t want to breathe in glitter or clean it up for months. Donating it. Expensive mistake. Otherwise, if you don’t mind that, it’s a lovely ribbon.
