- Ruth McDonaldGreat value for chunky knit yarn-good stuff!Really soft and smooth chunky yarn for blanket making. The cream color is a true cream (ivory) and makes a thick, warm blanket. I used this yarn to knit a chunky blanket and it turned out really pretty. The yarn is washable and I normally hang blankets to dry, although you can put them in the dryer for a bit, too. I found this yarn easy to work with and very reasonably priced. Good quality product and would buy it again.
- AleksandraAffordable thick and soft yarn.Love Homby’s yarn. It’s thick, soft, it’s easy to use has great colors and is affordable. I find it comparable to bernat blanket big yarn. Color in photo looks more like a dark turquoises blue but it is in fact a beautiful dark forest green. Would definitely recommend.

This yarn saved me money and the dark green is the perfect midnight green for my Philadelphia Eagles blanket. I'm surprised how well it matched!
To avoid a thick knot, I used a lighter to melt the ends to connect another ball or color. There was no shedding or thin spots. I have to say that my last few orders have decreased in quality, the yarn is thin and scrappy and I really have to work with it to get it to fluff up. Also I have had some orders on backorder which effects my ability to serve my clients in a timely and quality manor. I hope this is not the new norm for your product and customer service.

The quality of the material is very soft and does not fray which you might find in most cheap fluffy yarn where it sheds. Did not see any knots. The weight is light until it’s obviously crocheted or knitted together, and even then it’s a comforting weight. I hand knitted all eight skeins to make a blanket for my parents, it turned out pretty long, it’s my first time hand knitting so I made some parts more loose and some more tight lol whoopsies. But it was super easy to learn and work with, I love the little white ribbons that keep them together bc I can reuse them for crafts or gifts!
- Kindle CustomerProduct is great - delivery not so much!This product is great, better than expected from comments about the brand - was a bit flat and dingy, nothing a quick wash and dry did not fix. No knots, doesn't shed, and no issue with color fading when I washed it. But the delivery is an issue. Not sure if it is the store or Amazon. This was only part of my order. All from the same store. This one came right on time. The rest should have delivered later in the day on 10/26, but somehow got delayed between Staten Island and Long Island. Changed delivery to 10/27 - which has now come and gone with zero update - still showing delayed in transit since Sunday 3pm. Cannot even request a refund or replacement until after midnight tomorrow. Very frustrating - needed it for a gift. Ordered again, hoping it actually arrives tomorrow morning as promised. If not will probably never order from this store again.

I kept it as my bed decoration and my dog would use it to sleep on it as it is very comfortable and soft to touch. Very light weight and keeps you warm during the cold weather.
