The pictures are pretty clear in showing that but I've seen other reviewers complain about it so I wanted to mention it. I wouldn't say these are the best value for the amount you get, but velvet ribbon is pretty pricey so maybe it's not the worst cost-wise. They are very good quality and the colour range they offer is really nice. They also do not fray or shed when you cut them. I purchased Rust Red, Burnt Orange, Champagne Gold, Moss Green, Dusty Blue, and Ocean Blue and they are all gorgeous.
