The quality is great for a beginner, it was a wonderful value for the money, and he is getting to be creative. He has made multiple picture frames, earrings, and is digging around looking at all these cool designs to make more. He has no issue learning how to use it. I would recommend this item to anyone and everyone. Even my dad is enjoying it too, so it’s good for preteens and adults alike.

We started trying to create a design and he burnt his finger on the tool, unfortunately that was enough to make him completely uninterested. I however, continued testing it out and thought it was super cool! It works well, but it is no joke, this is a legit tool and needs to be used with parent supervision. - williamGreat wood burning starter packI thought I'd try out wood burning. This was the perfect kit to start off at a good value for the money. The kit is compact and easy to store on a shelf. The tools are comfortable and easy to use and the tools all function as needed. But don't ask to see my art haha. That's going to take alot more practice!
- wheels53Great but not safeI first want to say that I really like everything this kit comes with. It comes with everything you need to get started and to have some fun.
However, I don't think it's very safe. The wood burning iron gets ridiculously hot up on the safety area that's supposed to be safe to hold. It got so hot that I had to move my hand really far up and be very cautious so I didn't get burned but holding the iron so high up made it very hard to use accurately. - BrittanyWill buy againMy niece loved this!
