- MaryJaneParkerYou can tell the differenceOnce you use Gutterman thread, you will not go back to buying the cheap stuff. I will buy only this brand and Coats and Clark. The quality is apparent before you start sewing with it. It does not fray or jam up in the machine. The colors are vibrant and the thread is durable. It just looks better in the fabric. My only complaint is with this particular pack: the spools are smaller. But it's a good size to try them out without a huge investment. These threads are more expensive but worth it.

- Maximus C Powerspricey but high qualityI make costumes professionally so I do a lot of sewing, I've used a wide range of brand threads and prefer these to be well-balanced and high quality. Although the price is a bit expensive, if you are looking for a high-quality thread and are willing to pay a bit more for quality, this is for you. The thread is lightweight, it can break if you try to force it but you don't want the thread to be super strong because you always want the seam to tear before the actual fabric, you want a thread with a well-balanced strength. One critique is that I hope to see more colors and different buying options from this brand. You can use this in a sewing machine as well but the thread does run out fairly quickly if you do a lot of sewing.
