About this item
- REPAIR IN 30 SECONDS. NO SEWING, NO WASTE: Avoid replacing the entire zipper or throwing away items just because the slider broke. ZlideOn lets you repair your plastic zipper in under 30 seconds. Open, clip on, and close and the zipper works again instantly. Repairing instead of replacing saves time, money, and avoids unnecessary waste, making this a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for everyday use.
- WORKS WITH MANY PRODUCTS: This plastic zipper repair model works perfectly with medium to heavy-duty items including outdoor jackets, sportswear, backpacks, hoodies, laptop bags, camping equipment, children’s clothing, coolers, travel bags and activewear. If your measurement matches the size chart, ZlideOn snaps on in seconds for a strong, reliable fix with no sewing or tailor visits needed.
- FIND YOUR PERFECT FIT: Choosing the correct ZlideOn zipper slider is easy when you follow 3 simple steps: (1) Check the type of zipper: Metal, Plastic, Narrow/Coil or Waterproof. (2) Look for a number stamped on your existing zipper back. This usually indicates size. (3) If no number exists, simply measure the width of your zipper teeth using a ruler or digital caliper. A correct size ensures a secure fit and long-lasting repair.
- MATCH YOUR MEASUREMENT WITH OUR SIZE GUIDE: Once you have your measurement, compare it with our plastic zipper size chart shown in the product images. Sizes are: 5.0 - 5.20mm = XS | 5.8 - 6.2mm = L | 7.6 - 7.9mm = XL | 8.6 - 9mm = XXL. Always measure the closed plastic teeth, not the gap or the slider body. If your measurement falls between two values, choose the closest match, not the next size up. This ensures a secure, correct fit.
- HIGH QUALITY. MADE IN GERMANY: Every ZlideOn slider is made in Germany from high-strength materials designed to last. Unlike temporary fixes, tape hacks or low-quality sliders, ZlideOn locks securely and ensures your zipper works smoothly again. If you select the correct size using our guide, you’ll get a strong, reliable and permanent repair backed by precision engineering and quality you can rely on.

- LouFast! Functional! Fabulous! What a handy device! No need to throw away a perfectly good hoodie, coat, etc. where the only issue is a busted zipper. This comes in multiple handy sizes to fit whatever zipper size you need to fix. Took only seconds to have a perfectly functioning zipper. And guess what? If you snap on the wrong size zipper for your garment... just pop it off and snap on a different one. No need to sweat about getting it wrong... it's simple to swap if you make a mistake. Every household should have a box of these.
- Alyssa E.Expensive, but easy to install (see updated review)Six-month update: I lowered my review by one star because shortly after I installed this zipper, it would come apart in the middle of the zipper. It doesn't seem to zip the zipper tight enough or correctly. I have to just leave my jacket unzipped at this point, unfortunately, which kind of defeats the purpose of replacing the zipper.
The zipper pull on my Columbia jacket broke. I really liked the jacket and didn't want to buy a new one, so I looked into just replacing the zipper pull. I saw this zipper pull but decided to get a cheaper (regular) replacement zipper due to the cost. I was not able to install the other zipper and decided to go ahead and buy this zipper instead. I'm really glad I did because it was a snap (no pun intended) to install. This is a great little invention. Just be sure to get the correct size and correct pull for your zipper type so it will work correctly. I got a narrow (L) size. The size of my original Columbia zipper was a 5 and the zipper style was narrow. The zipper fit perfectly.
Cons: it's expensive and the one I received looked beat up (see photos). There were scratches and marks all over it. I'm not sure if that's what they all look like or if I just got a returned one. That's the main reason I marked it down to four stars. Fortunately it was only for a workout jacket. If it were a nicer jacket, I would probably return it and request one in better condition. Also, there's a point that snaps into the hole in the pull to keep it in place, which is great, but unfortunately, it's quite sharp and in just the right spot to poke my finger every time I zip up the jacket.
Pros: it's super-easy to install. There are easy instructions on the card it came on. I just snapped it open, put it on my zipper, and snapped it shut. I literally installed it in seconds. It prevented me from getting rid of my jacket and saved me the cost of buying a new one. I spent $12.90 for one zipper, but to replace my jacket would probably have been at least $50.
I think with a few design changes and possibly lowering the price a bit, they could make it even better. Even with the cons, I do recommend this product. It's a big time saver if you need to replace a zipper. - FairyDoughSo far so good but…Easy to install and so far works great on the jacket. However, the fin gives more than a “playful pinch” and should be more rounded so you aren’t poked when pulling the zipper up
- FinchWorks! Before I bought, I read the review, lots of negative and even friendly mention me “frequently return item”. But I have no choice , I had to buy to try on. Very fast shipping, I received the product by the next day. It is fantastic and magic. I put on my puff jacket, my zipper works! I can wear it for tomorrow trip. So happy!
- Bargain RonSimple Repair in less than 30 secondsI wish i got this before i got the 252 piece kit although it had the pliers to replace the top that i had taken off. This thing literally took 20 seconds to attach. i did have to use some of that kit to replace the stops on top that I thought I could replace the zipper with that kit. I did repair a UA zip hoody with it so it paid for itself.
- DmytroIt worksI was super sceptical about this product. It works! Usually zipper costs less then a dollar and I was super confused to spend $13. But these guys don't sell you the zipper. They solve your problem. My measurements were off, so I took the closest to my size. 1 Click and it works. I can't believe.
I hate writing reviews and too lazy to do a picture. Just for someone who doubts like I did – IT WORKS! - Allen SLooked simple enough, but...,This should have worked, but didn't. I liked the concept, but in my case as I moved the zipper pull it separated right behind the slider.
My problem is I've now spent nearly $50 on "easy fixes" and none have worked so far.
At some point, it's better to take it to a professional.
BTW, mine was a bag with a continuous zipper and two pulls. One is fine, the other broke the slider. In order to access the end, I had to turn it inside out, and then the pull is actually down. Couldn't get it started. If I placed it in the middle, it separated as soon as I moved it. - ChicagoGalWorks, but not as easy to replace as the directions make it lookI had a Land's end jacket with the upper part of the zipper claps was broken. I HIGHLY recommend using the type and size chart to make sure you get the right zipper that you need. It was not easy to get the broken zipper part off. The guide showing it being snipped off is false advertising for the ease to remove broken piece. No ordinary tool can do that. I ended up jamming to flat head screwdrivers into opposite ends of the side channel and twisted them in opposite directions to widen the channel and pull the piece off. I also had to use a flat head screwdriver on the new piece to hold the bottom and pop the pull down to open the new piece (Not easy to pull open with your fingers as the illustrations show. But, once I got that far, it was easy to snap the new piece on and it works like a charm!
I would suggest to the company to offer more than just black and silver options. My jacket had navy blue powder coated zippers. It would have been nice to have it match (or come close), rather than a black half and a blue half.
