- Paige W (@wingsandsmut)4.5 stars!!After reading Beautiful Venom, I knew this series was going to have me loving it, and I can say that that holds true with Sweet Venom as well! I am LOVING Rina’s dark hockey era and low key am devouring this series. In typical Rina fashion we get some twists and even though I had my suspicions of what they were, I still enjoyed seeing how things played out.
The chemistry and banter between Jude & Violet is chef’s kiss! Their tension is palpable and I absolutely love them!! And the vulnerability that we see in them, especially as they open up was also so sweet.

I literally did not want to stop listening to this audio, but also did not want it to end! - Janelle PegramA twisty good time!Easily one of my favorite books by Rina so far. I could not stop listening!! Jude is the definition of an obsessed and protective MMC. He is absolute perfection. I love love loved that this brought classic Rina with the twists and turns. Some I saw coming, some I definitely did not, but I loved every minute of this.
I absolutely adored Violet, the FMC, she’s been through so much in her life, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being as positive an uplifting as she possibly can for her friends and even literal strangers on the sidewalks. I also loved seeing all the mental health representation and the way Jude helped her come into her own more.
The plot to spice ratio could not have been anymore perfect. THIS is what I’m looking for in a romance. I love a romance with good plot, and Rina NAILED IT in this one especially down to the plot twist that will have you ready to throw hands with someone.
I'm also VERY EXCITED for the next book in this series, like I won't spoil anything but truly say less and gimme gimme.
Let's chat narration shall we?? As always, it was perfect. Narrated by TEDDY HAMILTON and Mackenzie Cartwright in duet they both brought everything to the table. My ears enjoyed every minute. It truly felt like i was living life right along with these characters. Teddy slayed as Jude (to no one's surprise)! He was truly next level. He brings so much emotion and heart to Rina's characters, i loved every second.
