  • Gets You Out of the Pain + Depression Doom Loop!
Wow! Dr. Amen’s “Doom Loop” concept blew me away! I had no idea that depression, anxiety, and past trauma could make the body ache… and vice versa. We’re all quick to spend $$ on pain relievers when it might be better to take a deeper look as what’s going on inside our mind and our brain.

I know so many people who are struggling with chronic pain that doesn’t respond to the usual treatments. I’m giving all of them this book for the holidays! If you’re struggling, think about giving yourself this book as a gift.
  • Best Book to Gift this Holiday Season

This is a great book for anyone suffering from physical or emotional pain or both. I highly recommend this read, and it would be an excellent gift for your loved ones this holiday season.

  • A Life Changing Book That Gave Me Hope
After reading Change Your Brain, Change Your Pain by Dr. Amen, I finally feel hope in my life. I have lived with pain for so long that I started to believe I was stuck with it forever. This book showed me that my brain plays a powerful role in how I experience pain and that I am not powerless.

The tools Dr. Amen shares are practical and encouraging, and I am excited to start using them to begin feeling better. For the first time in a long time, I feel like the doom loop in my head can actually be broken. This book is truly life changing.

  • Why Everyone in Pain Needs to Read This Book
Change Your Brain, Change Your Pain is a truly comforting and eye-opening book. Dr. Amen explains PAIN in a way that actually makes sense, showing how much our brains influence what we feel. He shares real stories of people who were hurting and how they found hope again, which makes the whole message feel personal and encouraging. What I loved most is how the book reminds you that you’re not stuck, that your brain can change, and so can your pain. It includes powerful tools that resonated with me personally like “The 4 Circles of Healing” which are biological, psychological, social and spiritual. The “Bright Minds Framework” which is a powerful diagnostic treatment model that gets to the root of why people hurt and how they can heal. And some very useful neuroplastic strategies that include breathing, visualization, nutrition, EMDR and more to calm what Dr. Amen calls “The Medical Pain Suffering Pathway” in the brain. The book is honest, uplifting, and gives you practical strategies to feel better, both inside and out. Highly recommend it.
