    As a huge Hole fan, I never knew much about Melissa Auf Der Maur, the tall, redhead quietly wielding her bass. Even the Good Girls Will Cry is her part paen to the four larger than life people that shaped her - trailblazing Courtney Love and Billy Corgan and her highly independent parents, academic Linda Garboureau and man about town journalist/city Councillor Nick Auf Der Maur. But its also her chance to take centre stage to tell her truth about blazing her own trail even with such looming formative people in her life. Melissa's witchy and somewhat quietly eccentric personality really shines in her writing.

    A must for anyone who loves music, especially bands from the 90s.
