- Mike MartinAmazing resultsI was very skeptical of most of these headlight restorers as I have tried others before and had less than positive results. I can safely say that Cerakote is the real deal. It took my headlights from cloudy to looking brand new. The process is fairly simple, use a wipe to remove initial oxidation some light sanding, use another sanding pad to remove the rest of the oxidation and then apply the clear coat and it all comes together for a great looking headlight. This product works great and I would use it again if I had to although its been several months and my lights still look great.
- TakeTwoTrue BelieverI was skeptical even after reading all the positive reviews but I am a believer now. The Cerakote ceramic headlight restoration kit works exactly as described. Follow the instructions , don't be afraid to put a little extra elbow grease in there the added effort will pay off. It took my yellowing dinge looking headlights and made them look new. I am very impressed. And would have know issues recommending this kit to anyone looking for a cost affective way to clean and restore their car headlights. I only wish I would have taken pictures to post but I was in hurry due to rain showers moving in.

I removed the lights just to make it easier and now have to tape off the body. Very happy with the results. - Kenneth RickmanPretty good, not quite perfect.For the most part, it works as described. I found that the included 2000 grit sandpaper didn’t cut the crud off my headlight sufficiently, so I had to pull out some 1500 grit from my own stock. No big deal, but for a product which claims to contain all supplies needed it’s a minor inconvenience. The included sandpaper seems fairly low quality, and gummed up more than even the discount stuff I keep on hand. That said, it did work well enough on the better of my two headlights, so it’s not a total waste. If you’re looking to restore a cloudy headlight though, it might be a good idea to start with some 1500 grit before pulling out the supplied sanding kit.
The package claims it takes 30 minutes, but I spent about an hour making sure to do a really good job. Prep is key with these kinds of products. I seriously doubt you could do the job well in 30 minutes unless you’re working on a brand new car. If you’ve gotten to the point of needing a headlight restoration kit, you’ve probably got a bit more work and time ahead of you.
Finally, a note for anyone else like me who has larger hands. The supplied gloves do technically fit, but they’re uncomfortably tight. You’ll probably want larger ones if you wear XL gloves. - M. LeeGreat Product! Headlights look new!This product deserves a 5 Star ++ review! I've tried many things in the past on different cars with moderate success at best. Check out the photos I've attached. This product turned crusty, crappy headlights into something as good as new with little effort! No tools needed, everything is in the box. Just watch the suggested video and follow the instructions. All together it will take about 30 minutes from start to finish (ok...it has to dry for an hour afterwards). For less than $20, you'll have basically new looking headlights. Now, let me tell you about their customer service. After finishing initially, I thought I saw a spot I'd missed. I tried to 'touch it up'. Should not have done that (when you are done, just walk away and let it dry). When I 'touched it up' with the ceramic coat wipe (which was kind of dried out at the time), it smeared. I tried more and it smeared more. I'd messed it up. Since this is a ceramic coating, I thought maybe I'd screwed the pooch. I called the company. A human answered the phone immediately. No computer, no waiting. I just wanted to know if I could just buy another kit and redo the one headlight, or if I'd screwed it up permanently. The young lady I spoke to told me it was not big deal and she'd send another set of sanding disks and ceramic coating wipes. No charge. Said I could just sand it off and redo the coating and it would be just fine. You can see the results in the photos I've attached. It turned out like new! And they sent it FedEx...I had it in a couple of business days! I love this product and this company. It and they have my highest possible recommendation!
- hannah sullivanThis Is The REAL DEALOh my goodness this kit WORKS. Don’t waste your time on any other kits. The kit is easy to use and takes 15 minutes. You have to have a whole 24 hours for the last step- clear coat- to let dry but no big deal. I tried everything to get my Range Rover lens clear. There was like a sticky-looking residue on them from another kit. I tried sand paper, drimmel, vasoline, window cleaner, vinegar, dawn, among other headlight restoration kits. This is the only thing I’d ever recommend now. Have also waited two weeks to post this to see if any peeling or cracking would occur but nope. They look like new. Super clear. No foggyness. My headlights are also very large and rectangular and one use did the trick.
- Dulcimer DaveWorks beautifully!!Finally! My headlight lens were very cloudy on my 2012 GMC Acadia. I have tried several products including home remedies with no success. This product does what it says. The instructions were detailed. Watching a video of the process was very helpful. This wasn't a 5 minute project. It took a while. When it came to doing the wet sanding step, I had no idea how long to keep doing it so perhaps I was being overly cautious. I kept wiping off the lenses and checking if I could still see more scratches. After all that, the lenses still looked a little cloudy. The final step is applying the ceramic Clearcoat. All of a sudden, those headlights looked amazing! Like new. I wondered when the Clearcoat dried the headlights would look the same. Yes they did! I'm very pleased and money well spent.
