The size is excellent, especially for larger vehicles with hard-to-reach windshields. The scraper is wide enough to function well in clearing ice from the windshield, and the brush end is helpful in finishing the clearing of ice scrapings or removing snow.
The design with padded handle also makes the tool easy to hold and handle. I used this tool many times over the past winter, and it has proven to be durable and solidly built in order to last a long time. - Erin PaulsonAluminum snow scraper for the win!Snow came unexpectedly and had to purchase a a plastic snow scraper from the gas station broke after using twice. - Zoran WNice brush and ice scraper, but it is small.I read the reviews before ordering this and thought, right I don't want a huge snow brush, this will work. This will work, but it will take a long time to clear a car. The brush is just shy of 6" long, so lots of sweeps to clear a car. I included a picture, sitting on a standard sheet of letter paper with a pencil and ruler to give perspective and actual measurements. One good thing, it will fit completely under my seat. My car is garage kept, so this will be truly an emergency use brush.
- Lakeside49Would buy it again - am giving one as a X-Mas gift to our daughter. Nice quality.The aluminum handle doesn't flex like a typical plastic brush/scraper - it doesn't flex at all. You just want to dump off the snow and ice as fast as possible and get in the car and safely go. The heavy/insulating foam handle negates the normal colder handle vs. plastic, so, along with the bright brush colors to maybe brighten up winter's lack of sun/color, this is comparatively more of a premium brush/scraper based on my buying dozens of brush/scrapers in my life.
I see no value/benefit to why the scraper can disconnect from the longer brush handle aside from the seller being able to ship it more economically. The two ends pop together and probably shall never disconnect even though the ad makes it seem as some sort of benefit. - Paulette HoldawayIt snaps in placeLuckily I have not had to use it yet but I'm sure that I will as the weather gets colder here in colorado. I like the fact that it is made so that it will stay together and not continually have to make sure that it stays together
- TnTWrong piece in the boxSo first of all, I don't know what the heck was on this box but I scraped it all off with a paper towel after I had decided I need to return this.
It does appear to be built pretty decently, and if the ice scraper part had fit into the pole and snapped in, I would have kept this product.
But if you look at the pictures, both the ice scraper and the other pole have the same end so they're NEVER going to mesh. The brush head and the pole fit together great. The little piece didn't stick up very well but you could still push on it and remove the pole from the brush head.
I think i'm going to do 2.5 stars just because it seems like a decent quality but it is unusable the way it came to me :(
Ohh, and I forgot to mention the coolest thing?! It CAME in a BRIGHT ORANGE BAG!!! I wanted to keep it just for the bag, lol, but cannot on principle. - Cathleen TrantReady for snowDoes the job!????
