- Larry in Rochester NYOver two years regular use I highly recommend!I purchased this product in April 2023, use it regularly, and am very satisfied. Most 12 Volt DC 'cigarette lighter' power ports utilize a 15 amp fuse. Doing the math one must consider (start up) amperage of the device being plugged into it. I limit the total wattage to 150 Watts so I don't blow the vehicle supply fuse. Driving party limousines on weekends I have had success running a small personal fan (AC), charging breast pump batteries (AC), maintaining a charge on my laptop (AC), in addition to charging several phones all at the same time. When used properly this device is a workhorse! Cooling fan noise is minimal and I consider it a nonissue. If you are concerned, USB to USB-C adapters are very inexpensive. After two and a half years of regular use, I have no complaints. Great price too!
