I wanted something compact I could plug into the car and still have warmth for both front and back seats. The fleece throw is lightweight and folds up easily, with a red plaid look that fits in with the camping vibe without looking like a bulky gadget. It measures about 59 by 43 inches, which gives plenty of coverage without taking up a ton of space.
In everyday use it works as expected. I plug the 12-volt cord into the cigarette lighter and the blanket heats up quickly, staying warm until I unplug. The cord is long enough to reach all seats, so back seat passengers can stay comfortable on long trips without crowding the driver. It’s soft against the skin and the thin heating wires keep the heat steady without being overwhelming.
What stood out is how convenient it is to move between vehicles or into the RV when we stop for breaks. It’s lightweight, folds into a compact bundle, and the included storage case with handles makes it easy to stash in a trunk or camping bag. The warmth is reliably cozy, and I appreciate not having to run the car heater at full blast.
One small caveat is that it needs to be plugged in to stay warm, and the care is spot clean only not machine washable, so a quick wipe is all you get. Still, given how quickly it heats up and how well it covers the lap or seat, I’m happy with the purchase. That's because when I'm nice and comfy cool traveling in our car, she's usually cold. She'll plug this thing up and be covered up, warm and dozing off for a nap within ten minutes. It's plenty warm, but not too warm even though there's no heat control at all. She loves it and it's going into its sixth year of use without a single problem. It's been worth every cent so far and I would purchase another one just like it if it did fail to work.

If you want something that is going to work fast and get HEAT then you will probably have to spend the money to get something nicer. But for how much it costed and just needing a little extra wormth in the cold weather this is not a bad product. I tried using it as a lay on blanket, covering myself with a large comforter. Not effective.
The best way to be warmed is to be underneath the warming blanket and top it off with another big blanket.

She’s a 5 year old and the car seat doesn’t allow for jackets to be worn while strapped in. This is a great way to make sure she’s warm (my truck doesn’t heat up fast, it’s a diesel). Tested it plugged into a Jackery 1000v2 and it had a power draw of exactly 50 watts. After 2-hours of usage is dropped the Jackery 2% and the blanket had not warmed up at all despite showing it drawing power.
Decided to re-test it in a colder environment. Took it out to my car which was 33ºF and after 1-hour of being inside a Zero Degree Sleeping Bag is had not warmed up at all.

But when I do, it’s heavily.its soft, and It’s gets very warm. Medium is pretty hot, I stay on the green. When not in use I keep it in a vacuum bag in the back of my RAV4. I would definitely buy again.
- KrylosNOT USB, this is for a cigarette lighter outletI did a search on USB electrical blankets. This was the top seller. But I failed to realize this is NOT USB powered.
That is fine for my use because my ancient 2023 American made vehicle still has the "obsolete lighter outlet" (journalists words, not mine). I was reading that many new cars do not even have this "feature" any longer.
As far as usability, it does NOT have a setting switch for warm or hot. It's just plug and play.
Seems to take a good 10 minutes to heat up and then it's not a toasty hot heat, it's just mediocre. I suppose it will suffice for now.
I can't say I would buy it again. I will go ahead and keep it, but it's not a 5 star product. I would definitely search more and probably pay more for a USB product that had a high rating if I ever need another one.
