- casandraBest slow flow nipple/bottleThe size 1 is PERFECT for breastfed newborns. Tried several bottles that were supposed to be slow flow and this was the first one that actually was. This mimics breastfeeding the best for my baby and allows her to take necessary pauses, drink at her pace, and even fall asleep after eating just like when breastfeeding.
- HCKAvent bottle nippleReally love the avent bottles for my baby. Purchased size zero nipples as the size 2 that come with the bottles are too fast of a flow. The size zeros are perfect for my newborn as there is no drip, and she has to suck to get milk. However the flow is not too slow either, allowing her to finish a bottle in 5-10 minutes. Worth the price. Compatible with the avent bottles, glass or plastic. Easy to clean and durable.
- Chelsea GayPerfect for my newborns needsLove the Philips bottles as a second time mom. The nipple sizes it comes with are 3, so it was nice getting the 1’s for my newborn and being able to grow into the original. Good price too!
- VanessaMom approvedBest nipples for newborns. Slowest flow and the design prevents leaks even when shaking the bottle for formula. Husband says to order more.
- Postpartum & PrettyPerfect for pace feedingThese extra slow flow nipples are just right for a newborn adjusting from breast to bottle. The flow is truly gentle, which prevents gulping and gas. Durable and easy to clean.
- Katherine LopezGood flow, baby latches easilyMy baby loves these szn the flow seems to be good for her
She’s 8 weeks - Antimony122My baby loves theseGreat product. It is shaped like a natural nipple and my daughter loves them.
- Cliente AmazonDo not buy it, only if you want to starve your child!Don’t buy this if you don’t want your newborn to starve. I use a Dr. Brown’s bottle, and my baby usually finishes in about 10 minutes. With this Avent nipple, after 40 minutes she hadn’t even taken an ounce. The hole is too small, and the flow is almost nonexistent. My baby got tired and couldn’t keep sucking. My husband tried it himself and couldn’t get anything out either. I ended up making the hole bigger with my teeth, and only then she could drink comfortably. I even spoke with my doctor, and she said she’s been filing reports to the authorities because she’s seeing at least one case per week of newborn malnutrition caused by this nipple.
