- madelynLeakproof!Best straw cups I’ve tried so far! I wasn’t a huge fan of the doctor browns bottles because they leaked so I was skeptical to try these but my last straw cups were fails so I got these and they really wowed me! They’re easy to clean they’re not 100% leak proof only because my little found out if there is milk or juice left in the straw part he can fling it around but other than that this is one of the best cups I’ve tried so far I highly recommend
- RileyBaby Loves It, But Some DownsidesMy baby absolutely loves the Dr. Brown's Milestones Baby's First Straw Cup! It was an easy transition from a bottle, and the soft silicone straw is gentle on gums and great for little hands learning how to sip. The handles are perfectly sized, and my baby took to it right away — it quickly became our go-to cup for water and milk.
That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. It does tend to leak if it tips over or is shaken (which, let’s be honest, happens constantly with a baby). Also, the silicone straw stains pretty easily — especially if your baby eats or drinks anything with color (like purees or juice). Even after thorough washing, the straw holds onto some of those stains.
Despite those minor issues, we still use it daily because of how much our baby enjoys it. Just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a leak-proof or stain-resistant option. Overall, a great starter straw cup! - BrookeMake sure everything is lined up with the cupThis Dr brown cup is a great cup! I seen it can have mixed reviews. Like it's hard for a child to get anything out of the straw (to fix this don't push the straw (with the ball) fully into the straw (drinking part straw). You want to leave a little gap in the circle part for air flow.) It has only leaked a couple times you have to make sure everything is lined up and in place. Over time throwing the cup it can leave some drops here or there but it's a great cup!!
- Amir MohammadPerfect Training Cup for Transition - Easy to Use and Clean! The Dr. Brown’s Milestones Baby’s First Straw Cup has been a great find for my little one! The weighted straw makes it easy for babies to sip from any angle, which really helps when they’re learning. The spill-resistant design is a lifesaver no major leaks even when tossed around.
The 9oz size is just right for water or milk, and the handles make it easy for small hands to hold. It’s also easy to clean and reassemble, unlike some other straw cups that have too many parts. The colors (dark blue and vintage yellow) look super cute and gender neutral.
Overall, this cup is perfect for transitioning from bottles to regular cups. Durable, functional, and baby-friendly highly recommend for parents starting straw training! - JahnyaleslieEasy to use!!The first one I ordered was faulty but amazingly Amazon sent me a replacement and my 7 month old loves it!! - Lynn BebikaPerfect First Straw Cup for My Baby Spill-Proof and Easy to UseMy baby loves Dr. Brown’s Milestones Baby’s First Straw Cup! It’s easy for them to hold, the weighted straw allows drinking from any angle without spills, and the cup is simple to clean. An excellent choice for any parent looking for a safe and practical cup for their little one.
- XoxoGood valueWe’ve purchased these a few times and they’re good for water and milk, however the leakage is still a thing. I’ve yet to find an infants cup that doesn’t so I would recommend these regardless. They’re easy to clean, love that the ounce measurements is included on the side and they’re easy for my 1 year old to use comfortably. He’s a big straw chewer and despite that, the straw on these cups have held up very well. We’ll continue to purchase and use!
- MemberGreat cup with thoughtful design, some minor drawbacksMy baby likes these cups the most out of all we’ve tried. I love the weighted straw — unlike other cups that require tilting or special manipulation, my baby can drink it dry easily. The handles are easy for little hands to hold, though they can get in the way when placing the cup in a stroller holder or packing multiple cups in a lunchbox. I wish the handles could clip on from the outside so I could slip it on without removing the lid entirely.
It does leak slightly when filled with milk after extended use. I ended up buying replacement cups since mine started leaking more, and unfortunately, replacement parts are more expensive than buying a whole new cup.
Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed cup that works really well for teaching independent drinking, but the minor leakage and handle design could use improvement.
