- goat8485A Potty That Makes Toddlers Feel Like Bathroom RoyaltyWe've been really happy with this potty. It's fairly sturdy, has a splash guard that actually works, and a removable seat that fits standard toilets. It also has a non-slip base which is a nice feature so the potty doesn't slip out from under your kiddo while they are clumsily trying to sit down with their pants around their ankles. The removable seat has actually been really helpful because it can be taken off and used on the adult sized toilet - which has helped with the transition to using the big potty.
The flushing sound button is also a toddler favorite—my kiddo pressed it so many times we've considered charging admission. Overall this potty is easy to clean, easy to set up, and surprisingly motivating for little learners. Great for the price and toddler-approved. Would recommend! - Amazon JaneExcellent potty trainer toyThis is a fair price for a thing your kid will love. He likes it a lot better than the one we have that doesn’t have the bug shiny flush button.
This is a plastic bucket setup with three pieces that are very easy to take apart to clean. It has the recognizable removable cup part that catches the pee and poo. My son already recognized it as a place to go because the removable cup part looks the same as in lots of other products like this.
There’s also the fourth top piece with the big silver flush sound button on it that you snap in to place. It has a battery compartment for AAA batteries. Surprisingly batteries were included and already installed. I dropped the box while carrying it into my house and it was already reeving up making flush sounds! It’s a very secure battery compartment with a screw and it’s stuck up in there.
Another good thing about this that sets it apart from the rest is how it has an about 4 inch base that not only looks like a real toilet but it also elevates the seat to make it seem like a better place to sit than some of the shorter potty products. It’s cute how the whole thing is shaped like a real toilet.
The only thing I don’t like about it are the deep holes that are in the top piece next to the button. You’re apparently supposed to put a marker and these included sticker sheets in there. While my son does love the stickers, it’s silly to think a toddler will just leave those items alone to sit there in the deep hole spots. They are useless holes that will attract dust and pee and be hard to clean. Fisher price should take note and get rid of those. Otherwise the product is perfect. Included stickers are appreciated even without the stickerkeeping holes in the product.
A++ would recommend - DesertDwellerBest Travel Potty, Good for Training, Not Easy to EmptyThis potty is super cute and has some great features, as well as some design flaws. It's a solid choice for a first potty to train with, and one of the best available for road trips or traveling. Just be aware of it's issues.
Pros:
+ Toddlers love the stickers that come with it.
+ Adding a sticker after each use is very helpful for training, encourages use.
+ Flush noises are fun when pressing the button.
+ Build quality is very good, pieces all lock together and stay put.
+ Easy to move and pick up the whole potty by the top, unlike many others.
+ Rubber grips on the bottom help it stay put, doesn't slide around easily.
+ Reasonable Price
Cons:
- Small bowl capacity compared to others.
- The seat does not always come off easily, tends to stick to the bowl, making it difficult to empty.
- No pour spout for emptying. Can be messy.
- Front raised lip is too small and short to prevent accidental "spray" from boys. They'll need to be more careful with this one compared to others.
Comparison:
We have this one and also the "Summer Infant by Ingenuity My Size Potty Pro". The Summer potty has a larger bowl, is much easier to empty because the seat comes off every time and the bowl has a pour spout, has a larger raised lip in the front for much better spray prevention. The Summer does not stay together like this one though, it comes apart into pieces easily, not good for frequent moving or traveling. At home, we love the Summer, for road trips we will always grab this Fisher-Price. - John DoeWorks like a charm!I started potty training my 2-year-old last week, and this potty trainer has already made a huge difference. My toddler warmed up to it right away, which is honestly half the battle. The size is perfect for little ones, and the design feels sturdy and safe without being bulky.
The flushing sound feature is a big hit, my child loves “flushing” after going, and it turns the whole process into something fun instead of stressful. The included potty chart is also a great motivator. We’ve been using stickers, and it’s helped build excitement and consistency. Better than offering candy in my opinion. The removable ring is one of my favorite parts. It snaps on securely, but pops off easily when you’re ready to transition to the big toilet. It fits well on our standard toilet seat, and the stability gave my toddler confidence to try using the toilet like a “big kid.”
Cleaning is surprisingly easy. The bowl lifts out smoothly, and the splash guard actually does its job, especially helpful with younger toddlers who are still figuring things out. There’s also a nice little storage area in the back for wipes or training rewards, which keeps everything in one place instead of scattered around the bathroom.
We’re only a week in, but this potty has already made the whole experience smoother and far less messy than I expected. If you’re starting potty training and want something durable, toddler-friendly, and genuinely helpful, this is absolutely worth it. - E. L. CastroDirty used productChristmas present for my son, opened it up and it was used! I thought it was odd I could hear the sound effect when it was still "sealed", even more odd that it was partially assembled out of the box... I dont care how mich it was cleaned, who wants a used potty training toilet!?! Gross.
