Our toddler went from her crib right to a full size bed and this gave her (and us) great security that she's not going to roll out of bed. It's easy to install and won't fall off or break down unintentionally; I've put my weight against it. The mesh is strong but easy to breathe through too. The rail is pretty long and surprisingly tall. If you want to bring it down, it takes an adult pressing buttons on each side.
She's sleeping all night so everyone seems happy with it! The mesh sides are a fun bonus for curious little ones who like to peek around, and the rails feel secure enough to hold my daughter’s 20lb weight when she climbs or leans on them (though I never leave her unattended). That said, the corners are a bit too firm—just plastic, not metal, but I still managed to catch a pretty gnarly scrape on my knee after bumping into one. (To be fair, I am accident-prone... but still worth noting!)
The biggest reason for the 4-star rating is the slack between the mattress and the rail—there’s a gap that I patch with a pillow to keep her from rolling into it. It’s not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to be aware of.

I have a queen size bed and a satin comforter. When I go to bed I like to have an extra pillow and blanket nearby just in case because I am one of those people who sleeps with the window open and fan on year round.
Problem is, my extra stuff and sometimes my comforter falls off the opposite side of my bed.
So, I bought this bad boy!
I LOVE it!
It was easy to assemble but not as easy to install because my mattress is heavy as hell. I think on a normal mattress it wouldn't be so hard.
But once installed it works great to keep everything where I want it!
I have it about 2 inches from the head of my bed and it goes about halfway down the side. It is plenty long enough to keep everything or everyone from falling off!
I like how it folds too so I don't have to remove it to make my bed or change the sheet. I just fold it down then I can tuck everything like normal.
It will also be great for if my daughter comes to house/pet sit with my grandkids and wants to use my bed.
Ain't nuthin fallin off with this bad boy in place!
