I have already purchased three and will be ordering another soon. The build quality is solid and sturdy, and it feels very secure once installed. I especially appreciate how smooth and easy the one-hand operation is, which is a must when you’re juggling daily tasks.
Installation was VERY EASY, straightforward and didn’t take long at all. The pressure-mounted design works perfectly without damaging walls, and the adjustable width made it easy to get a precise fit. The auto-close and double-lock safety features give great peace of mind.

- LuvLethalWhiteAussiesThe BEST dog-gate ever!We have a LOT of dogs. Because we have so many, we have baby/dog gates throughout the house. It's been this way for many many years now. Baby/dog gates come, baby/dog gates go. Tall, short, free-standing, mounted, self-closing, opens one-way, opens both ways -- you name it, we've tried it. By far, THIS IS THE BEST GATE I HAVE SET UP YET! Definitely worth the few extra bucks it costs (you do get what you pay for when it comes to baby gates. The little ramp was key in helping with the installation, as well. I don't necessarily need it as I rarely roll a cart through this doorway. But while installing this gate, it held it up in place and made it much easier for me to install solo. I didn't want to permanently mount the cups in the door jam, so used the tape backing, instead. While I had the gate free-standing, I put the four tension bolts in place. Then I peeled off the tape cover and placed the cup over each bolt. I easily slip the tension bolt to the wall, applied pressure, and voilà! The cup was placed in exactly the right place. I tightened the tension bolts, released the cable that holds part of the gate back, and the work was done. I love the self-closing gate - yet, if needed, when you open the gate all the way, it will stay open. When it closes, the latch clicks in quietly. I have some gates that are so loud, they'd wake the dead. Not this one. Plus, the overall look shows quality. Well-made, well thought out. I'm so impressed with this gate, if I had the budget, I'd go through the house and replace all the old gates with this specific gate. My dogs are well trained, so they do not try to push through - but I have no doubt it would withstand the pressure from a large dog, if one were to try to push the gate down.

Our one-year-old constantly pulls and tugs on the gate, and it doesn’t budge. It holds firm without any issues, which gives us so much peace of mind. At the same time, they’re very easy for adults to open and use, so we’re not constantly struggling with a complicated latch.
We’ve been so happy with them that I convinced my in-laws to order two for their house as well — and they love them just as much. We love that it's wider than others and the ramp is a great addition. However, we bought new and got a used one. The zip ties were all cut and retied. And the old zip ties were left in the box. But everything was in there so we kept it.

Pricey gate, but I needed something better than the small baby gates you find everywhere, since the kitchen has a lower step and it was a hassle for us to jump over the baby gate. This gate is perfect. It is easy to install. I did the installation in 10 minutes tops. You can use the pressure adapters by themselves ( which I did) or for more even sturdier gate, install the wall adapters. The instructions recommend the wall adapter for children ( which is not my case) Magnet lock click is great. It looks nicer than the bulky baby gates. it is sturdy, and resist reasonable push and pull from the dog.

Several options for size, came with removable sections for best fit. Also had several options for securing to wall or stair spindle. You can either mount it with hardware or use the adhesive pads that come with it. Looks nice. Only thing I wish they wouldn’t have put the warning stickers all over it. It is hard to remove and ruins the look of the black if left on.
