I found that lathering the tower first and using it was less satisfying than first using it soap-less to give the back an initial rougher scrubbing before then following up with the towel being soaped. I think the latter method is more effective in exfoliating, cleaning, and rinsing as the fabric quality is less "abrasive" when soap has been applied. Overall, I feel it is good value for the money and is easy enough to hold as it's being used.

Texture is excellant - not sure how it is able relieve the itch of my back and yet be delicate enough for compromised skin from lymphedema on my legs. Actually think it makes my showers go quicker because not using brushes, washcloths, and/or poufs. Both shower gel and bars of soap create wonderful lather.

I had tried simple viscose mitts before and this product is a definite improvement over those. After trying one myself I came back to purchase 5 more for gifts. I purchased this while searching for a premium scrubbing cloth that was comfortable, effective, and large enough to use one my back and sides, and looked nice as well- I don't think I could find a better product.
- MatthewA must have, lives up to the hypeI was a loofah person, but I got tired of them either falling apart after a few uses or feeling like they were getting gross. I'd heard people rave about these Japanese-style towels, and the GOSHI completely lives up to the hype. It's a total game-changer. The texture is perfect, the level of roughness scrubs and exfoliates and leaves you feeling incredibly smooth, but it's not so harsh that it feels like you're using sandpaper. It lathers up soap exceptionally well so you end up using less body wash, and it rinses clean and dries quickly which feels much more hygienic than a bunched-up loofah. The length is somewhat of a drawback, the reach is perfect for getting your back without turning yourself into a pretzel but it's honestly too long. I ended up cutting it in half for the perfect length, still long enough but not unwieldy. It seems simple, but this towel is one of those small, inexpensive upgrades that makes a huge difference in your daily routine. I can't imagine using anything else now.
- Jin YExcellent exfoliating towels from GOSHII’ve owned several GOSHI towels and they are wonderful to use. They are quite durable and do a great job at exfoliating my skin without being too rough. It’s easy to use and hang up due to its long shape. GOSHI towels also dry quickly. It is a little pricier compared to other alternatives but I think it’s worth it 100%.
