  • Perfect gift for any Basketball fan or young player!
Great book. Well written and of course the photos are great as well. Highly recommend it as a Christmas gift to that kid in your life that loves basketball. I had it before I gave it to my grand-daughter because it was so well done. It's full of good tips and good life lessons they won't even realize they are getting. Hats off to Steph Curry!
  • Inspirational!
This book is very well written, easy to read and is filled with a lot of pictures. Most of the pages are pictures with some text but the messages and stories are truly memorable and inspirational. I'm not really a Steph Curry or a Warriors fan, but I do love the NBA and respect Curry as a player and a person and this book just added to that respect for what he is about. It is a very quick read that any fan would enjoy!
  • For all sports enthusiasts!
My daughter loves it! The book is really thick. It is filled with wisdom and great pictures. Just get it!
  • Always Prepared: A Personal Take on Stephen Curry’s Shot Ready
Reading Shot Ready felt like sitting down with Steph for one of those early morning workouts before anyone else is awake. He does not just talk about the highlights, the championships, the splash plays, but the real behind the scenes grind: the extra shots in the dim gym, the disciplined routines, the setbacks. It is inspirational how he pulls back the curtain on what it means to be prepared, and how that preparation is not glamorous, it is steady, intentional, and relentless. You feel his excitement, but also his humility, and that makes everything hit harder.

What I really loved about Shot Ready is how it is not just for basketball lovers. Whether you are chasing a goal in your job, in your creativity, or just trying to get better at something, this book gives you a roadmap. The way Steph weaves in mindfulness, connection, joy, and creativity alongside discipline makes it more than just a how to book, it feels like encouragement in physical form. The photos, the layout, and the stories all work together to remind you that excellence is built in the moments no one watches. After reading it, I felt more motivated to show up, and more belief that being shot ready is not a destination, it is a way of being.
  • Shot Ready talks about life preparation of the greatest shooter of all time.
The book looks like an encyclopedia as it is a huge hard bound well made book physically. The fonts they used to publish the book is bigger that your average hard cover book so it is an easy read with a good mix of colored and black and white pictures. Shot ready is basically how the phenom Steph, describes how he prepared his life from his upbringing, through his rookie year until becoming a veteran on a championship team and how to sustain that level of greatness as if he knew from the get go that he is a special talent and that one day he will change the way . basketball is played. Shot Ready talks about life lessons and preparation so when that opportunity presents itself you will be shot ready for it.
  • for Curry fans, a 5 star book that lost 1 star for poor layout
    what a strange book ...

i am not sure who put this book together or if I got a printer's reject.
my gripes, and i took off 1 star for :
    * the cropping and layout of photos
    * the size and placement of text - the positive is the font is large, the downside is visually looks mickey mouse.

putting it side by side to the Kobe Mamba Mentality hardcover, the layout is the difference between a professional publication and a grade school project (which is what i thought of Shot Ready).

it didn't ship with protection, bare book in bare box so your corners may not be crisp and perfect on this hardcover.
if you are a quality driven consumer looking for a collectible, i recommend finding a store to go in and select your book.

my kid does love the book and is reading it word by word and going through it page by page.
if you are a Curry fan, you will probably love it.
  • Great philosopher, fantastic pictures
This book is great if you just want to look at the pictures. It is full of them.
Reading it gives wonderful insight into a life of commitment and dedication.
  • Shot ready until the end...
A great badketball player-- a really great read. Work for it. Keep in the moment, and stay shot ready. There isn't any better life advice than that.
