  • Best Approachable Art Lessons Ever!
The author of this book gives clear, succinct directives. It offers popular subjects with sketches accompanying the directives. I love that there are obvious ranges of pencil shades in each sketch. If you have an interest in drawing, this book allows you to move forward in your art. I highly recommend it.
  • Great learning book
Loved this detailed book. Great for all who want to draw
  • Great for young artists
My kids both love to draw so I bought this to encourage them to continue their work. They found the content helpful.
  • This book is everything
This book helped me tremendously it really showed me awesome new techniques to where I literally have a new drawing style thank you for this I highly recommend it to new and seasoned artist.
  • Great book for kids and young adults
Great book. Out friend’s son loves it!
  • I love anything that keeps me learning.
This book is simple yet so creative. It shows how to take a blank piece of paper and make it look like there are things jumping out or off the paper. I've always been able to draw simple little pics, but this allows me to take it to a whole different level. It's very fulfilling.
  • Great gift
Great gift for youngest granddaughter who loves to draw!
  • This book has aged a lot compared to competition
I love the book's first part (drawing techniques, understanding shapes, blending and shades). I wish this part would have dug deeper into the details. On another hand, I'm a bit less keen about the "how to draw" section: too much unuseful text.
