  • This is not a YA novel
This is not a YA book. It’s at least New Adult if not adult. And while I love this series I wouldn’t want my kids to read it as a YA Novel as it has graphic sex scenes in it between adults. So for me it’s weird to think of it as YA.
Be warned if you’re getting this book series for your kids.
However if you’re an adult who reads YA or spicy fantasy books like the ACOTAR series among others, you’ll not be disappointed by the spice and story.
Also like some of the other readers, geez I thought it was supposed to be 3 books and now it’s going to be 5 or more?
  • I feel like a fool
I honestly thought this was going to be the last book… that we were finally going to get an end to this story. The book was great and it was hard to put down but, yet again Alex fooled us… what was suppose to be a trilogy is now going to be five books?? Six?? Are we ever going to get to the end of the story?? It’s the equivalent of a show that should have ended with three seasons that just continues on and loses it value.. I’m so disappointed
  • 10/10 definitely wanted to cry
If I could put 6 I would. It’s so good the ending hurts so bad. My heart is broken, and I’m torn between both Oro and Grim. I need a last book.
  • Loved it!
The ending cliff hanger was sooo good. I was a complete emotional wreck from this book! Can’t wait for the last one!
  • Stagnant
I feel like nothing was answered nor accomplished in this book. Felt very much a like a filler book in a stagnant story. If yet another book takes a year to come out, I will probably lose interest all together.
  • pain
How f dare you Alex???????????????? cliffhanger with a side of pain is this book summed up
I’ll be in exile if you need me
  • twists and turns.
So many different routes to take so many challenges but so well written. Started off at team Grim now I don’t know what team Im on…
  • Filler book? AI?
I honestly feel like the book was a filler, it hardly adds anything to the series, the writing feels rushed and the book is very different from previous books. At one point I questioned whether she’d used ai as the grammar and description was off.
Sad as I really enjoyed the previous books.
