- LoriBeautiful BookA great book! We are trying to visit as many parks as we possibly can and this is a great resource. The added bonus is the amazing photography, just wow! This would make a great gift for that traveling friend or family member.
- AndyA Great Guide - Inspiring Photography and Quite InformativeThis excellent little guide is a overview of the United States plethora of national parks, state parks, historical sites and more (including beautiful Canada!) in an impressive and perfectly sized book. The many incredible photos and good amount of information will definitely inspire a trip to a bucket list location, or even a nice road trip as well. Very nice presentation with plenty to offer. This would also make an ideal gift.
- Michael J. RosamiliaA must have for travelersGreat book for those who travel and want to visit! I’m going to buy more for gifts!
- RandyBucket listI am ready to do some traveling and check out some of these great locations. Nice variety, description and visuals.
- AardwizzThe "Ideas" aren't as detailed as one might like. The book is unquestionably beautiful. And it does contain ideas for what to do at each park.
But... With about 4 pages per park, 2 pages are taken up by photos. So if there are on average 50 ideas per park, each idea is merely a word or phase of the thing to see or do. No details as to how to get there, no insider tips, just a series of recommended highlights highlighted in bold, and perhaps a fact or two about it to whet your interest.
Of course, each park itself could have a whole book written about it (and most have) and toting 100 such books around on an extended trip is not something that most people would want to do. So this book is a good starting point for planning / getting excited about seeing all the wonderful Parks in the US and Canada. - SCarpenterKid approvedI bought this for my son who loves the outdoors, history and making memories. He loved the book it's useful&helps him to plan his travels.
