This book had me giggling, squealed and completely in love with James and Maddie. The honest way that the self doubt and feelings of failure was portrayed, struck a cord in me. I loved how the characters were able to work on their issues, but still keep that charm and personality that is so uniquely them. The chemistry and yearning between James and Maddie is so palpable. Each small interaction just has you wanting more of them. Every moment was just perfection.
I absolutely loved Maddie. Her battles with self worth and feelings of failure were palpable and so relatable.
James is the man! The way he values Maddie, and will quite literally do anything for her. I love his consistent support and encouragement of Maddie.
I loved my time with Annie, Emily and Maddie. Their moments together were some of my favorite, and I loved their sisterly friendship.
This book was like a warm hug, and I just absolutely loved it!!

???? Heat level: Definitely a bit spiceir then her previous books. Innuendos throughout and heavily implied intimacy. I was able to skip Ch 35 without missing any part of the story.
???? Language: Strong language through, F-words (8). - InstylehomedesignDamagedGreat book loved it but my book game slightly damage, and as a perfectionist I was really upset. It island bug but it was a let down, great book though loved it!

First of all, I’d like to thank both @prhaudio and @sarahadams for the gifted audiobook.
First of all, James Huxley is the new book boyfriend I didn’t know I needed! Madison Walker is an FMC that I could so relate to and when you bring these two characters together you have a story that I just adored. How could you not love this story when you have:

From the first chapter I was hooked and this is by far my most favorite book of this series! I don’t want to give anything away but if you love tension and yearning in your romance books this is the book for you!
While it’s always sad when a series ends Sarah Adams certainly left us with a book that I know for me will leave an indelible mark on my heart! - OliviaLove!I really enjoyed this audiobook. The narrators, Chase Brown and Christine Lakin, did such a great job as James and Madison. I think these two have become some of my favorite narrators. The really did a fantastic job bringing these two to life and making their banter that much more funny.
I loved Madison. She was the wild child of the Walker siblings and I just loved how she was outspoken. She had me cracking up with her unfiltered comments. While she was funny, she did struggle with her mental health and it made her very relatable. While in New York, she had to deal with verbal abuse at work and it really affected her confidence in the kitchen.
I loved James too. He’s been down bad for Madison for years and she never saw it. He tried to take on so much, however, his family business was still struggling. He stuck with the process his father and grandfather had taken, but I loved when he realized he also had to do what was best for him. I feel like the relationship he had with his brother was something people could relate to as well.
I really loved these two together. They had such fun banter, great chemistry and I could feel the tension between them. James and Madison supported each other and it was just perfect. I loved getting more of the Walker siblings and all of the meddling neighbors and people in town.
Overall, I really enjoyed this audiobook. I loved that there wasn’t any unnecessary drama or conflicts. I am sad that this is the last book in the When in Rome series, but I think it was a great ending for it! It was a great rom com that I would 100% recommend!

This was so tender and funny (seriously there were multiple times I laughed out loud and so hard my cat looked very grumpy about being woken up). I so love these characters and loved the slow burn between our two leads. So glad I spotted this at the bookstore.
