  • The book we all need right now
It's not very often that a book comes along that can truly change your life. This is one of them.

I have been interested in Dr. Doucleff's work for years. This is next-level.

The writing here is absorbing - the science is presented in a compelling way. No talking over your head, she explains things clearly and tells you what to do with this information.

I've been following Dr. Doucleff's advice and it's changing my life for the better. I feel better physically, I'm more present. I feel like myself again. Not just for kids - it's for all of us. And it's what we need in this moment of time
  • Relevance
What makes this book so extraordinary is the relatable antedotal stories laced with thoroughly researched scientific data. It was an enjoyable and enlightening read. I was left with no doubt of the insidious role screens and ultra-processed foods play in the lives of not only our children but also in our lives as adults. I plan on taking it to heart and implementing the conclusions in my everyday life.
  • Wonder That No Screen Can Duplicate
I am not a parent but I nurture the child in me when I stand at an overlook of wilderness for the audible and visual connection with wonder that no screen can duplicate. The same marvel for nature attracts me to the branch of an apple tree for its ripe, sweet fruit that no confection can deliver. A habit of my own volition — seeing, hearing, tasting, and feeling. The kid in me, following instructions handed down by nature. "Dopamine Kids" is Doucleff’s offering of hope for our children’s health and wonder. All of us.
