- Timothy DekofskiLiza comes out with the truth about her life.I read this book cover to cover yesterday and couldn’t put it down. I read Me and my shadows by Lorna and both books tie together. It gives you a peek of what it was like to grow up in show business. To me, Judy, Liza, Lorna, and Joey made it over the rainbow. The courage to deal with their loving mother, Judy Garland, and survive their own demons dealing with addiction and alcohol. What I love is they were all always laughing. Sometimes, you just have to laugh at all the craziness. Not many people realize how funny Judy was. Liza has some same sense of humor. I love listening to the stories. If you have someone or even yourself dealing with addiction, I highly recommend you read this book. It’s not easy and it doesn’t matter how famous you are. It can happen to any of us.
