  • I want To Live on Fletcher Mountain!!!
I’m with Cozy, I want to live on Fletcher Mountain!!! I don’t know how Amy Daws does it, but each book gets better and better! I cried, laughed, swooned, got angry, heartbroken and then elated throughout this book. All the emotions!!!
Luke is the youngest Fletcher brother who is tired of being the 5th wheel. He’s also desperately in love with his best friend, Addison. He’s afraid to tell her because he knows she’ll run.
Addison has a complicated childhood that has bled into her adulthood. She basically runs her father’s lumberyard and assumes she’ll inherit it when he retires. Then she finds out she has to be married and live with her husband for at least a year. This complicates things since Addison never wants to get married!
Luke proposes that they marry each other since they’re best friends. And he’s hoping she’ll fall in love with him. This is where the fun begins!!
I loved watching Luke put himself out there for Addison. Showing her who he is and what she means to him. It was tough to see the walls Addison had erected to protect herself. But watching those walls come down was amazing!!
It was fantastic to be back on the mountain with Wyatt, Trista, Calder, Dakota, Johanna, Max, Cozy, Everly, Ethan and little Stevie! They feel like family! And the women bringing Addison into their group was wonderful! Add in Addison’s father, John, and his girlfriend Edith. John was a tough character to like and even tougher to dislike. Hard to explain but there were times I wanted to smack him and other times I felt like he needed a hug!
This book was amazing and I hated to see it end!!! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Everly!!!
  • Loved Luke! ❤️ FMC gets on my nerves.
Wish I could give a 3.5. This could have been my favorite in the entire series; however, the FMC got on my nerves. Tantrum after tantrum. Good God. Loved Luke!!!!❤️
  • Welcome to your next 5 star read!
Welcome to your next 5 star read! It’s no secret that friends to lovers is my absolute FAVORITE trope. As much as I’ve loved this entire series, I’ve been on pins and needles waiting for this one to release. Daws did NOT disappoint! There is no world in which Honeymoon Phase doesn’t forever set the bar for friends to lovers. It’s that dang perfect!

Like a lot of Amy’s characters we get two strong, independent people who are shaped by their trauma and baggage. Luke and Addison forever changed the direction of their friendship, however, when they agree to marry for convenience. That scenario in itself is enough to hook most readers but what really sets this story apart is the pining. And oh, man does Luke pine so freaking good. Unlike most variations of this trope we learn right away that Luke has been in love with his bestie for years. His hard shell with a slightly broken but incredibly kind interior best friend.

Let’s be honest, though, it’s really the journey to show Addison that he’s her forever that keeps your heart fluttering and your belly laughing. Luke is so dang swoony but it’s that Fletcher family that really helps this couple shine. You’re getting swoon, spice, family fun, some farm animals, a lot of baggage, all the Amy Daws banter you’ve come to love and yes…you’re even getting some Fireball.
  • Great addition to the Mountain Men Matchmaker series
I absolutely loved Honeymoon Phase by Amy Daws. It's a great addition to the Mountain Men Matchmaker series, with tons of humor, heart, witty banter and shenanigans.

This is a marriage of convenience romcom, with Luke hopelessly in love with his best friend, Addison, but so far into the friend zone that she won't even consider him for the marriage-on-paper she needs to inherit her father's business. But thankfully Luke is able to persuade Addison that he's the guy, and now he's on a mission to make her fall in love with him for real. There's a man with his rooster, a lumberjack competition, a close-knit family and a lot of humor to keep you engaged throughout Luke and Addison's journey to love.

The audio, narrated by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton, is a fantastic way to experience the store that Amy Daws wrote. These are two master narrators that really bring the characters to live and make you experience the emotions right along with them. I highly recommend you give it a listen.
  • Emotional Perfection
This book consumed me! Every page was soaked in emotion—the kind that lingers long after you’re done. The humor and slow burn balanced it perfectly, but wow… the way Amy captures love and relationships? It hit deep. A flawless mix of heart, heat, and healing! You need to add this to your TBR ASAP!

I can’t wait to finish the first two books then to dive into Everly’s story in May 2026!!

    What to expect:
    ❤️ Marriage of Convenience
    ❤️ Best Friends to Lovers
    ❤️ “My Wife” Moments
    ❤️ Small Town/Mountain Vibes
  • Loved loved loved it!!
I loved this one so freaking much! I have loved every book in this series and this one is no exception! I was hooked immediately and didn’t want to put it down! It was pretty much a one sit read/listen for me!

This book had me laughing and feeling all the feels! I absolutely loved Roe and Luke! They had great banter and even better chemistry! This is definitely one of those books that could just keep on going! I didn’t want it to end! I grew so attached to the characters that i was sad that it was time to say goodbye! I know we have one more book left and I’m excited to see what’s to come, but sad that it all has to come to an end!

If you are an audio lover this audio is a MUST MUST MUST listen!! It was fantastic! The narrators were chefs kiss!! They really drew me into the story so much! This one really did play out like a movie in my mind and I think that was because I listened and read at the same time. I cant recommend this one enough!!

So if you’re in the mood for a small town, best friends to lovers, marriage of convenience romance look no further!!
