My biggest complaint is that the ring has a fixed pivot point — it doesn’t rotate. Most of the other cases I’ve used have rings that spin, which makes them easier to use as a finger holder. With this one, since the ring is fixed, the phone tends to sit high in your hand and feel a bit top-heavy.
If the pivot point has to be stationary, I think it might work better placed on the side or top. That said, it’s a bit of a trade-off — the current placement actually makes it perfect for holding the phone in portrait mode. So it really depends on what matters more to you.
