- Patrick F. MahoneyWorked fine for data in Ireland, France and NetherlandsFirst, to use this you need an unlocked phone. Make sure your phone is unlocked before you buy it or travel. If you don't know if your phone is unlocked, call your carrier before you leave on your trip and ask them. If you are making monthly payments on your phone, it's probably not unlocked. If your phone is paid off or you paid full price, it is probably unlocked. Call your cell carrier and ask before you buy this SIM and before you leave on your trip. I think some of the negative reviews for this SIM kit are because the phone isn't unlocked.
Second, this SIM kit worked great for us for all data - like Google Maps, and WhatsApp calls and sending photos via email - in Ireland, France and the Netherlands and it presumably works everywhere else they said that it does. We had good service - even in remote parts of Ireland. It is data-only, so you want to use apps for calls like Skype or WhatsApp or iMessage and Facetime Audio for calls. There is no texting. You do get an actual number but it can't send or receive texts and you can't make phone calls.
The card is basically a white-box Orange Welcome Travelers SIM card. You can go to the travel.orange.com website and add more data, and you can also extend the service beyond 30 days but you have to register it by going to an orange store or by taking a photo of the passport and sending it in via their website. You can also see how much data you've used by registering the card at the travel.orange.com website.
Make sure to bring and keep the whole big credit card thing with you on your trip if you think you might need to add more data. You need the number on the credit-card-like thing to add more data. Current prices to add more data depend on the length of activitity but you could add 3GB for 9 euros, or add 5GB more data for 16 euros.
Some people have complained about technical issues - one thing is that Orange is one of the biggest carriers in Europe. They have stores in pretty much every city and town in nearly every country (maybe not some Eastern European countries). You can just go into any Orange store for help.

The delivered SIM is actually from the French "Orange".
My route involves several countries, so I carefully check whether all of them were included in the promised coverage. The first one is Czechia. Here my Android shows three providers, the local branches of Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile.
The SIM got installed smoothly but is unable to connect to any of the three carries. Thus, as far as Czechia is concerned the promised usability is not present. Very upsetting.
After Czechia I travelled through Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy. The SIM functioned properly ONLY in 2 out of the 6 countries, in Austria and Croatia. It did not in either Bavaria, or Italy, or Czechia, or Slovenia. For instance, in Italy it was showing strong cellular signal in but failed to connect. Note that this SIM was promised to be usable in all the listed countries.
I bought also another SIM from the British "Three", and, unlike this SIM, the other one functioned nicely
In short: the seller of this SIM provided false information, evidently relying that a buyer of a "30-day traveller SIM" will return back to States after the expiration date for the SIM return.

I installed it upon arrival at the Dublin Airport. While traveling around Ireland we used Google Maps for navigation. We only used Google Maps while we were out and about in order to save on data being used. We connected to wifi while at our airbnbs or at a Cafe, on the Dublin busses or location that offered free wifi. We used WhatsApp to communicate with family here at home. This card worked well and lasted the entire trip without having to refill. You do have to register the card or they will shut it down. When installing make sure your phone is turned off first. Follow the directions and it's smooth sailing from there.

- S.B.Worked for me without any issueRecently, I purchased this SIM2ROAM Europe Data SIM Card Prepaid 10GB - 30days. I was going on a two weeks Euro trip and purchased this to use in London, Italy, Greece and Aegean islands cruise. I changed out my sim card for this sim before landing in London. Turned it on once we landed and voilà! it worked. As other reviewer had mentioned, you need to put your phone on 'ROAMING'. If it does not work the first time, put it in roaming restart the phone and give about 5 minute for it connect.
During the cruise, it worked perfectly when we were near the islands. Only in the night, when the cruise was sailing between island the signal was patchy. Who cares, I want my good night sleep! I am not checking my phone anyway.
I was surprised that it worked on the cruise (near the cruise) when we were docked in Cesme port turkey as well. Of course, it did not work when we went deeper into the country for our one-day excursion. Well, I had plenty of data and GREAT coverage. Following the instructions, it was super easy to swap with my existing card and the speed was excellent. This was a great value and made my trip much more pleasant and stress-free. Thank you!
