This is a 5 star product in every sense of the word. The umbrellas is built strong, yet aesthetic and will serve my purposes for a very long time.
With the letter you sent along with the package you said that if I ever have a problem with the umbrella drop you a note on your customer service support line and you’ll send me another one!!!!
I’m not writing you on your support line because there is anything wrong with my umbrella.
I’m writing to say thank you!!!!
I’m in Los Angeles where it truthfully only rains a few times a year, if that. We are a desert.
However, over the last few days we’ve had a rain storm, pretty significant for this town. And my umbrella quit functioning.
Of course I went to Amazon, I looked around and I found your Tumella and was instantly impressed by the video of the wind tunnel and the umbrella’s strength. Again, not that I need a heavy duty umbrella, it only rains a little in Los Angeles.
But I was impressed with how far you went in trying to make a very good product. Something better, more durable, more reliable than the mass market. You wanted to be better than the rest for the sake of the customer!!! This stuck with me.
So I purchased it. And by the time it arrived we were still experiencing rain and I got to use my Tumella to my sheer delight. It works perfectly.
But all of the above is the lesser reason of why I am writing to you.
The envelope you included with the umbrella was so fantastically cute and adorable, I was instantly compelled to write to you.
The letter, the font used, the picture of the family, your story of how and why you made this product, was so over the top cute I was thrilled at your extreme desire to make your customer happy. And the fact you were willing to send me a new one if this one somehow stopped performing…just melted me!!!!! This is so very unique in the age of fast, disposable, low quality merchandise. Such a breath of fresh air from an a commercial or industrial viewpoint.
I have no idea who you are and I am, of course a total stranger to you. But you, your story, your product, your ability to make a superior product over the rest of the market, and your letter including your beautiful photo of your 5 kids!!! (Are those really all yours???) touched my very heart in a way that has not been done in a long time. Especially by a mass marketed product.
Thank you for your product. Thank you for your human touch. Thank you for being a cut above the rest.
You are obviously very special.

Scott W - MarthaGreat umbrella with top tier customer serviceI ordered 2 Tumella umbrellas back in March for my kids and they have exceeded my expectations! The designs are vibrant and beautiful. There are so many prints to choose from! The umbrella is very durable. It’s very portable and compact. It’s super smooth to open and close. The coverage is great for both children and adults. On top of all this, their customer service is top tier. Recently one of the umbrellas tips broke and the company sent me a replacement. The customer service representative was very attentive to the situation and very quick to respond. I reached out about my umbrella on a Tuesday and received my new replacement that Saturday (only 4 days later!!! Wow!) excellent excellent customer service. The representative followed up with each step (let me know it had shipped and reached out when it was delivered to make sure I was satisfied with the new umbrella. I will be ordering another for myself soon. If you get one expect to receive a ton on compliments on the beautiful design and be assured that you are spending your money on a quality umbrella with customer service that stands behind their product.

I have yet to have it turn inside-out due to wind, which was my biggest pet peeve with every single other umbrella I own. The design on the inside is BEAUTIFUL! It's lightweight, easy to store, and the cover looks great with it, too!
I was elated to find out that it's a one-press button to open, and then it closes with the same button which is super convenient. It's a little shorter than I'm used to, but it still works perfectly! - RickyGood quality, bulky for the sizeoBuild is stronger than normal, it is a bit of a pain to put away because of the increased support causing more folds. The umbrella also started to struggle opening like the spring got a bit weak. Overal decent, was good for the rain. I did buy another during my trip that was same sized and less suport and was half the size while callapsed and had a brtter pouch so i ended up just using that the rest of the time.

Repels water well and doesn't retain water and stay wet like some I've had before. The auto eject is a really nice feature. I've had mine for two years and still going strong. Also the designs are super crisp and clear and add a nice appeal to a gloomy day. The customer service is super quick and actually "hassle free". My husband has one too and he loves it! It's not too small to shield from the rain nor too big where it feels like a golf umbrella. Just right! Highly recommend.
